If I could give my experience at the Sunbury VicRoads a 0 I would.nI recently went to pay my licence renewal and got the worst customer service ever.nThe lady who called my number didn’t even acknowledge me, she had black glasses, tipped hair and tattoos on her fingers to best describe her.nA message to this women, if you don’t like working in a customer services role then leave and move on. So rude and entitled. Get over yourself. It’s not a good look.nEven before I went into the office I could see her eyeing me off getting out of the car as she was walking into work. I have a disability and parked out the front because I can’t really walk that well and she came past to eye off if I had a disability permit even though there was ample parking. Highly offensive and discriminative. I hope that made your day.
I recently came in, dispensed the appropriate ticket from the machine for my specific task, and waited for quite some time to be assisted.nnThe 'service' employee I didn't get his name, but he was middle-aged was extremely rude, and literally walked off on me well before the enquiry/task was fully finalised.nHe simply walked away as I was mid-sentence, asking an important question.nnBecause he was so hasty, I had to call out across the room to get his attention and clarify.nEven then, he was snappy, and only gave a partial answer.nnOnce I got to my car, I realised the answer was fully insufficient, so I IMMEDIATELY returned to the Service Centre and speak to him again.nnI waited for him to finish with another customer before politely apologising and asking my simple question - a two-sentence conversation which could have taken less than 5/10 seconds.nnInstead of using a bit of common-sense and making it easy, he scolded me in front of all the other customers, robotically referring me to the ticket machine to wait another 30 minutes...nnThis made me look and feel very inconsiderate in front of all the other customers - but I could tell this employee did not have the social insight to realise this, nor did he realise that I had ONLY come back because of his improper customer service.nnSince I have had neutral-to-positive experiences with other staff-members here in the past, I have opted not to leave a 1-star review.
We attended a drive test this morning for a probationary licence and were extremely disappointed with the experience. The driver was failed within the first minute of the test for supposedly “hitting a curb,” which simply did not happen. Even the instructor in the vehicle praised the driver for correctly exiting the carpark. The driveway out of the centre has a noticeable drop, which was likely what the assessor felt from the back seat.nnTo make matters worse, the staff were over 20 minutes late, rude, and before the test we overheard staff joking amongst themselves about who would be doing the assessment. It felt highly unprofessional and unfair from the beginning. Failing someone so quickly over something so minor and questionable feels like nothing more than a money grab. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour.nnI absolutely expect to be contacted to discuss this further.
My experience with this Vicroads has been the best out of all the other branches. All the staff have been easy to communicate with, which gave me a quick and easy experience. Thanks Vicroads Sunbury.nnZD Boats
