Story

Vector Wero Whitewater Park is a world class tourism destination that engages our communities and youth. It is New Zealand's first facility to offer an artificial river and water course for recreation, sports, and emergency services training, school programmes and youth development.

It is a pinnacle stage within the collection of facilities which includes the Vodafone Events Centre and the Sir Noel Robinson Conference Centre.

The Park on water operations are ably led by Olympic gold medal champion Ian Ferguson and his team.

The white water park is developed and operated on behalf of the community by Second Nature Charitable Trust which reinvests the corporate dollars into educational and community programmes – building a stronger community and everybody wins.

Great team building activity, it was so much fun! The course is really well set-up, and the guides were excellent. The waterfall was fun as well. It was a bit cloudy and rainy on the day and I was initially worried about being cold but rowing keeps you warm and you get completely wet anyway so this is a great activity no matter what the weather is doing. I would definitely recommend trying this and I would go again!

So much fun.  Nothing we expected at all.  There is a lovely outdoors area to sit and relax  and watch everyone that are participating with the activities. Staff are friendly and humorous. Would do it again with our work colleague.. Good for team building!!

Great fun. Experienced guides made it even better. My 8 yr old son loved it. The optional video that you could purchase was way over priced.

Loved it. So much fun. Pretty cool to watch a preview afterwards n enjoy a beverage after awesome set up n venue

Great place for teambuilding!.. Guides are cool as and they will let you feel safe all the time. This is the next best thing in experiencing the rapids.
