Vaporetto is a new Venetian Bar & Eatery in Hawthorn, Melbourne. Located beneath the Lido Cinema complex, trading 7 days.

Story

Kim Coronica and Greg Feck, owners of Crabapple Kitchen, along with David Wickwar bring you Hawthorn's very own Venetian Bar & Eatery. Vaporetto or "Little Steamer" as it translates to in English, are Italian water taxis which service the canals and islands of Venice. Join us as we transport you to this beguiling city to discover the food, wine and cocktails of the Veneto region.

The Bar and Eatery is open 7 nights a week from from 5pm and all day from 12 noon on Friday - Sunday.

The food and drinks are delicious, but the prices are horrid, if you want to be over charged for some pretty good food, come here. Left slightly hungry. Cocktails were pretty damn good, they are next level.
Fantastic experience. Amazingly flavourful food, friendly and precise service, great setting. We had oyster, the quattro fromage tortellini with seared scallops, gnocchi ragu, lettuce salad flavour bomb and fries. The tortellini was my favourite as Im obviously biased towards cheese and scallops but every dish shined on their own.

Today is my mum’s birthday so I booked a table for dinner. We really enjoyed the food and service there~ I love Lamb shoulder and Tiramisu the best! We would definitely go again~
I enjoyed. My first lunch after lockdown. Delicious, great unobtrusive service, nice wine suggested and supplied. Enjoyed very much. Set menu, yet able to choose from at least 3 selections for each course. Lovely balance in menu. An ideal lunch to make me feel dined after so long in lockdown.
