Needless to say I have falllen in love with this place, ive been roping everyone to going and trying it out - i am above and beyond impressed by how the staff and atmosphere have rocked my world. I was grappling at the idea for YEARS and finally not only am i hooked but gripped. Amelia was my first point of interaction with the staff and there are not enough nice things i can say. Amelia was very educated and informative when instructing and eager to show the place around. Best decision evern+1000000000/10
Less cafe, more facility. I would much rather have a bathroom I don't have to wait in line for than a cafe. It's west end bruh. There are a billion cafes/places to eat within a 30 second walk. You could have had 2 modest changing rooms with showers, but no.nnAlso, would be nice to shower... farther from a toilet that isn't even separated by a barrier. That's gross. Like forreal. There is ONE shower and it is 10 feet away from a toilet with nothing in between. What is the point of showering?????????nnGood setting though. And they have campus rungs which is the second most important thing to the setting.
I took the Fundamental climbing classes over three weeks and had a really great experience. I was able to learn a wide range of bouldering basics and techniques which really helped build my confidence. Riley explained everything very clearly and made it easy to understand even as a complete beginner. The classes were supportive, fun, and very helpful.nnI’d definitely love to take another class in the future and challenge myself at the next level. Highly recommend for anyone new to bouldering!
Had an amazing time here these past two weeks. I’ve fallen in love with top rope climbing! The beginner deal with two weeks of unlimited climbing was awesome, and I’ve already recommended it to friends. Great place to climb.
Urban Climb West End is a great place for bouldering, with plenty of routes and a good range of difficulty levels. It’s a fun venue whether you’re a beginner or a more experienced climber.nThe small café is also a nice addition, offering a variety of drinks.nnMy only criticism is that I found some of the political messaging displayed by staff a little unnecessary in a workplace setting. Climbing gyms are often places people visit to relax, exercise and switch off, so I personally prefer them to feel as neutral and welcoming as possible.nnAside from that, it’s an enjoyable place to climb with lots of variety.
