It’s a massive place! There were 2 type of climbing. One of them was climbing with a safety rope as you go climbing high and another one was without a rope.nIt was my first time to try the one without a rope. It was very challenging and more complicated. I had a lot of fun here!nIf you visit first time, they give you free session of 2 weeks which is amazing.
One of the most established gyms in Brisbane! Urban Climb West End has it all: Bouldering, Rope, Gym. A lovely gym with tons to offer and always a good time whenever I make the visit as a non-Urban Climb member. Lots of dogs, fun setting and friendly staff!
Good setting.nI wouldn’t limit with the specific color to specific grade because then you limited by the specific set of holds you have from the same color.nSecond, they charge 5 dollars more for a first timer because “introducing” they doing before climbing, guys that’s a made up thing- no1 charges more cuz of that and I climbed all over the globe.nAnd last but don’t least- put air conditioning, I seriously almost died of heat, yeah the chuck isn’t good for the air con system but climbing in 40 degrees? You’re kidding me.
It’s my first time to visit here by myself. The staff was so friendly and gave me socks and talcum powder And first time can get two weeks for free. Can’t wait to come again. By the way cafe so amazing!
My son and I had a great time. Although their website says it’s free for first visit. I paid 80+ for two of us including the gear hire. It would have been nice if it was discussed at the counter. I could have done the casual weekly membership and it would have been cheaper. Parking on site is limited. For someone who doesn’t live in the City make sure you download the App for street Parking. It’s my second time doing the wall climbing and I must say I am enjoying it. The demo was very informative and helpful for beginners like us. The place is beginner friendly and they have bouldering options as well.
