Was on my way to Tauranga Domain to attend son's sports event and unforseen unique car issue reared it's ugly head on the drive in. Rang all Mazda Ultimates and next bookings were weeks away. These guys helped me out big time with my unique car issue and even managed to squeeze me into their tight schedule last minute to help get me back on the road. Very thankful
Took my grandmothers car in for its 20k service last week, sadly service was crap, was in for a full day for an oil change, wasn’t even groomed This has never been done the whole time we have had this car just disappointed to be be honest. Don’t bother contacting us just get the staff under control. Won’t be back again.
Be aware of them trying to charge labour for a warranty claim. My 2019 bt50 infotainment system died. The vehicle was just out of warranty. I went in to see if Mazda would do something about it and wasn't informed of any costs to be incurred. In the end they did and I am appreciative of that. However I was unimpressed to have the receptionist ask if I would be prepared to pay for the specialists labour of $160. It would have taken them less than 15 minutes to do the checks they told me they did. They proved this to me when they took the infotainment system out for a second time. It took less than 4 minutes to drive the vehicle in to the workshop, remove the unit and drive it back out. I am happy with Mazda, just not this dealership.
Took my car in for a full service, got an appointment the same day as calling! Super convenient and professional. The receptionist was so lovely and the highlight of the experience :Service: Brake service & repair
2nd Ave, friendly, but failed WOF on something a mechanic fixed, easily, in less than 5 minutes. As a long term, loyal customer, they could have done it for me. They wanted me to order a part that cost $180 +GST + $140 labour. In fact it cost nothing to fix. Poor customer service.
So impressed, helped me out with a fault on the day. Pulled a sensor from the mount and fixed it by 4pm. Very impressed. Guys were super helpful, thank you.
Having purchased a new Mazda from Ultimate Motor Group I arrived for my first 10,000 km service, at your Second Ave UMG Service Centre. I had never been here before. With no where to park, because the driveway was full I stopped my car off to the side in the empty mechanics floor area then I went to step out of my car to go and ask the reception team where I should park my car. Before I was even able to step out and ask my question I was immediately yelled at by Jordon from reception, “you can’t park here!”, loudly and rudely 3 times, then he rudely snatched my keys. I clearly told Jordan I did not appreciate his rudeness - he did not attempt to apologise. He was so rude that my partner who is intending to buy a new Ford vehicle shortly, was put off purchasing from UMG. We get you’re busy but as there was no obvious signage where to park, and yellow lines on your driveway, instead of yelling at your clients all you needed to do was simple direct where to park - your role is customer service and UMG website clearly states UMG prides itself on its service. Jordan has for us completely undone the good service the rest of the team gave us at Hewletts Road UMG in one 10 second rant!
3 weeks before they could look at my car. Took it elsewhere and it was sorted same day. They were polite and apologetic though.
Friendly as. Was so happy. The staff are so great and made me feel extra special. Plus they gave Me a great courtesy car
