Lovely service from the wait staff, and the food was fresh and delicious! The Beef Rendang was one of the best I've ever had, and the Nasi Goreng with satay sticks was tasty and substantial. We also got some prawn wontons which were crunchy and tasty. Will definitely be going back to try more of the substantial Malaysian cuisine on the menu!
We got there at around 2pm and while being seated we were told by the waitress to order in 10mins and the cafe will be closing at 2.30pm. Well we didn’t appreciate the abrupt and impertinent way she said it as after that we saw a few customers coming in and ordering their food as well.nnThe Nasi lemak curry chicken was spot on the spices were well balanced and the rice was so flavourful. Cha kway teow had wok hei, bits of lard and pieces of egg throughout. Lobak was meaty with great ratio of meat and fat although would have prefer it slide horizontally instead of diagonally for sharing purposes.nnPs: cafe closed at 3pm
First time there, ordered the Char Kway Teow and Ice Teh TariknCustomer service is excellent, the food was prepared quick enough.nNoodles were as ordered spicy, there was char on the prawn and a bit on fish cake but it could have used a little on the noodles just needed a little bit more wok Hei. Overall the meal was tasty and filling. Teh Tarik was very nice also, would definitely return and try some other items on the menu
Restaurant is clean and have the western-asian fusion vibe, but they sell malaysian food. The fried yinyiong is very good with a decent portion. If cooked with fresh prawn with a little calamari, it will be even more tasty. The nasi lemak with rendang meat was very authentic. Beef was tender and loved the curry taste.
When it came to the food, the starter were really nice. I really enjoyed the roti and curry. The drinks were also really nice. 4/5 for those. What dragged the my rating down was the mains. Was it terrible? No absolutely not. Was it as good as the rest of the meal, definitely not. Price was pretty decent. I think for the lot, it was like 90 bucks which is pretty decent.
