If you are in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, this cafe is a must-try.nnWe had the char kuey teow, fish fillets soup with vermicelli and the nasi lemak with crispy chicken.nnThe taste is authentic for all the dishes.nnThe prices are reasonable for a Malaysian cafe in Australia these days.nnEnd your meal with a teh tarik, warm or iced.
CKT was excellent, can really taste the wok hei! Egg gravy noodles was also very good! Quick and attentive service from the staff there.
Had the char kuay teow and sar hor fun with black sesame ice cream and kopi cham to end the meal. CKT was really good, generous portions and excellent service. Will be back to try other dishes
Decent food, cozy cafe. The char kway teow was good but salted egg fried chicken was too oily although the seasoning was nice. Laksa no picture was lacking flavour and wished the broth was thicker.
This place offers an East meets West menu. While it specialises in Malaysian cuisine, one can also enjoy cocktails and coffee. It is popular with families with young children. The food is above average and I particularly enjoyed the Hainanese Roasted Chicken Rice. However, it did leave me quite thirsty after. The price is a little higher than similar Malaysian eateries nearby.
