The best quality authentic Japanese food on the East Coast. Amazing value for money. A must for anyone visiting Yeppoon. An absolute gem in the middle of an abandoned Resort. Bizarre but extremely rewarding.
A truly Japanese restaurant. Great staff, great service , and our meals were perfect. Spotlessly clean everywhere, lovely scenery. I loved the artifacts. Anybody going to Yeppoon this restaurant is very worthwhile going to.
Overall experience was great. It’s a bit pricy but food was definitely tasty. You can’t be too fussy when you don’t have many Japanese restaurants in this region anyway. It was weird feeling when the whole building is empty and not in use except this small restaurant though. You might be worried that it might close for good one day. Come to support it and enjoy its food while it is still here!!
Although dobin Mushi and ice cream are delicious. But I think the other dishes are very common. Although Wafu steak is delicious, it has a strange burning smell when it is put on the stone. But from the beginning to the end of the meal, we spent a total of 2 hours. I ordered the 80 yuan set meal, but most of the time I was waiting for the next meal, and two single order meals are missing. To be honest, the whole dining experience was really unpleasant. It took me 40 minutes to drive there, and the first meal experience was really bad.‍
Amazing lunch - I’m never disappointed by this beautiful place. Fresh fish was just that - fresh and so tender. Love the atmosphere and the whole experience.

Dining at this restaurant is a weird experience, since you have to drive past a big sign with "NO TRESPASSING! Trespassors will be prosecuted" on it. The restaurant itself is very pleasant, with a good Japanese vibe, very large tables and plenty of spaces between tables. But not having any music means that we could easily hear every other table's chat. The staff is young but efficient and attentive. The food is good, but not great I'm afraid. With all the positive reviews, I was expecting something more. The fried chicken we had as entree was just fried chicken, nice but not any different from KFC's. The soup was actually just a broth with one prawn, a bite of fish and a bite of chicken, very good and tasty but I would't call it an entree, especially not at that price. The sushi was the best dish, with the right amount of rice, perfectly seasoned, and generous amount of seafood on it. But for that price I was expecting a little bit more of it, it wasn't scarce but I wouldn't call it generous. Again, when you spend that money you expect something more. The tempura was just OK, nothing special and certainly not enough for a main.
Amazing lunch - I’m never disappointed by this the standard of the food and beautiful restaurant. Love the atmosphere and the whole experience.
Food is Nice and place is neat. It has dress code and can't wear flip flop. Kangaroos are near the restaurant. But the staffs are not very sweet. Sukiyaki is Delicious.
I've been coming to this restaurant since a school excursion in Grade 3. It has always been amazing and I'm glad it's stood the test of time.
