Story

I have grown up as a kid in the trailer manufacturing business,working weekends at my fathers factory,and school holidays.It was tough work,but we did have good holidays as well.
I gained immeasurable insight and skill in trailer building,and 30 years later,thats what i still do,and somehow enjoy it!Lol

Great business, Never judge by convenient apps and receptionists, These guys are old school real deal skilled welders and 2 generations on the tools in there , take your time to see these guys, their great work. it's best quality I've seen in Melbourne . Competitive priced. if they are busy or you can't get in touch it's because they are low staffed and busy building and helping others with these A1 trailers. Big big thanks to the old mate in there, He was above and beyond near closing time , called me back with lots of info , and sorted my trailer for the following morning

After doing a lot of searching I chose Towpax in Melbourne to build my motorbike trailer. I'm from Adelaide, but there was absolutely no one here who could build what I wanted at a reasonable price. There are plenty of manufacturers that make similar bike trailers in Melbourne however a lot of them are low quality. For example I previously purchased a cheap trailer from another Melbourne manufacturer last year and had some problems. If you load it with 3 bikes they sit very close together and when going around a corner they all lean right over because of the tie-down points not being far enough apart. They also didn't measure the trailer when building it because it wasn't symmetrical. My Towpax trailer is a different story. They put a lot of thought into the design, it firmly holds 3 bikes without a problem & it's actually symmetrical. I added some optional extras including full hot dip galv, galv rims & heavier gauge steel for extra strength off-road which I think are all well worth doing. I dealt with Mark and he organised everything for me over the phone. When I drove over to Melbourne to pick up the trailer I was very happy with the result. It was all exactly what I wanted. I needed some shackles to connect the safety chains & some spare bearings to keep in my car. I offered to pay for these but Mark insisted that I take them a no charge. Overall it was a fantastic experience. If I need another trailer in the future I'll definitely be going back to Towpax. 5 stars!

Its so shocking in this modern age when slavery days are past some business people still uphold racial discrimination. I could not get a quote for a trailer which I wanted to buy. I was told dont come in, we don't sell to the public and we busy. BUT on their website and on their factory its written WE SELL DIRECT TO THE PUBLIC. Highly questionable customer service may be its because they hate exotic race.
After having a horrible experience with Bunnnings, Towpax a family business was able to supply me with a 6x4 trailer that not only looked better it was also much more safer the Bunnings one was a death trap, very high quality built and a better price! Can't recommend Towpax enough - thanks guys!
Asked them to build an axle so I could bring my trailer back from Cobram They built it and had it ready In a couple of days and I fitted it and it towed great would recommend these guys 100%

Disappointed! Rang about getting a bespoke spare wheel carrier made. They said it was no problem but when I got there they told me they couldn't help me
