The atmosphere of this restaurant is very clean and relaxed, loved the decorations. The service was very good as well. We ordered the garlic pork ramen and it was OK, although it looks great the egg was a bit too salty and the broth was quite plain. The spider roll on the other hand was quite nice, i would suggest ordering sushi from this place.
Love this Japanese restaurant in Eastwood. It’s my go to restaurant around this area. The staff are friendly especially the owner he always has a polite conversation with my partner and I, the sashimi and sushi is always super fresh and good quality.
Really enjoyed the ramen. Soup was full flavoured. You can taste the ginger in the Karage chicken, which most shops you don't. Would definitely come back to try other stuff.
Good service, fluent english speaking waiter probably makes this place more comfortable amongst English only speakers. Price was moderately expensive, grilled salmon roll was great! Fresh sashimi with the bento box.
Only one of the two Japanese restaurants in this side of Eastwood. Need more patron. Food is nice for family and friends gathering.
It was not too bad. My daughter enjoyed meal. However all plates meals was really simple and not interesting. Espectially plain Udon.
Food is below average. Atmosphere is ok and attempts to express the culture. The price is quite ridiculous for its quality and quantity. Warning. The large sized meals are actually small-medium sizes when compared to normal Japanese restaurants. We ordered a large mixed tempura set which was almost $30. Expecting to get a wide variety of tempura to share with the family, but it consisted of 4 prawns, 4 small sweet potato slices and 2 calamari..... The sashimi/sushi doesnt smell. But it is mushy and too soft/seemed stretched. I'd say it would be decent if this restaurant was a cheap fast food store.
Although the place is decent in terms of cleanliness, atmosphere, the wait was very long and the waitress we had was not very attentive. eg. we asked for water and she came back with cups but not water until we waited a while and finally asked again. I would recommend against the tofu and avocado salad - it's the worst salad I've had in years.
Food was okay. However, a friend found an insect in their food and informed the waiter. The waiter was pretty good about it. However, a couple minutes later the owner comes out and tries to explain that "the insect was probably just a fly that flew into the soup. It wasn't from the kitchen. It probably just flew in." Instead of just replacing the dish and apologising, the owner just kept going on and on, making us feel really uncomfortable and awkward.
Came here in search of Japanese hot pot and they had advertised a winter special. The hot pot was bland and flavourless unfortunately. The tempura was also too oily. It's a shame though as the owner and staff were friendly, highly attentive and provided great service.
