We had the Seafood with Spicy Soup hotpot which was very tasty and filling. There was also a great range of complimentary ban chan. We will definitely return to try other dishes. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
KimChi dishes are only complimentary for two2 more top-ups. Additional $2 per dish is charged. The KimChi stew with Pork Belly is tasty but hard to find that piece of pork. Overall a good experience with authentic food and service. Thank you
I came here with the expectation of decently portioned meals at a cheap price, due to the one dollar sign displayed on Google Maps. However, the portion sizes were quite disappointing. We ordered a half boneless fried chicken for $18-$20, expecting a decently sized half chicken as seen in their menu and other Korean restaurants. But instead we were given 9 small pieces of chicken on a small plate. The bimimbap was $20 and decently sized with an average and slightly bland taste. But the opposite could be said for every other dish. Most of the menu items could have done with less salt. We also got a kimchi fried rice for $20 and was quite disappointed by the portioning and the extreme amount of oil. We ate the rice and discovered a pool of oil at the bottom. I’d say the pancakes we got were pricey but the most tasty dish there. However, the bathrooms were abhorrent. My friend and I had both queued for the bathroom and I went into the disabled one while she went into the female one. However, we soon realised that both of these stalls were connected and barely separated by half a wall. Neither of the bathroom stalls had toilet paper. Instead, the toilet paper was outside and we had to pass them beneath the stall walls for access as there was only one roll. There were also a number of flies in the bathroom and there was not a place to hang your bags. The food wasnt that bad, but the bathroom ruined the experience.
Delicious side dishes and better than most restaurants around the place. The Hot stone bibimbap was average. Staff were friendly. Will return but will try something different next time
I was so disappointed with this restaurant. The “monk fish in spicy sauce” was terrible. I only found 3 -4 small pieces of fish meat which can be eaten in this huge fish dish and then the rest of the stuff was the skin and bones. First, I thought probably it is the supposed to be like, then our family tried to eat the skin, it was so gooey and very hard to bite, we couldn’t even swallow it. I think the skin wasn’t well cooked enough, so I called the waiter and he tried using chopsticks to separate one piece of skin and he failed, he agreed with me and took it back to kitchen and 5 minutes late, the fish brought back with the same look and same texture. I had no idea what they did to fish. We just give up to eat any of this mock fish again. We also ordered fried chicken, the chicken had a bit of smell which means it wasn’t fresh enough. The seafood pancake was good and delicious.
A small cosy restaurant selling Korean foods. We were greeted quickly upon arrival and got seated right away. As soon as the staff took our orders, they brought out various banchan side dishes and table water. Shortly 10 minutes later, the food arrived steaming hot and fresh. The bibimbap in stone pot is fragrant with sesame oil and crispy on the bottom and topped with a raw egg yolk that made the mixed rice more creamy. The half size fried chicken was cooked from thigh meat which helped the deep fry meat not too chewy but still tender and moist. I personally didn’t like the accompanying sweet chilli sauce but enjoyed dipping it in the bibimbap sauce and together with crunchy pickled radish. Food overall tastes alright, similar to other places hence for 4 stars rating.
I’m happy to eat here. Cosy neighbourhood restaurant. Staff are friendly. People around me look happy too. My first cold noodle experience on a hot day is amazing.
Pretty traditional Korean restaurant! Me and my partner had “binbinban “ and tofu hot stone pot! Use card got 1.5% extra charge! For 2 people’s dinner we paid 33$ total and got full enough! This is my first restaurant I had when I just arrived Sydney 3 years ago memories here~~
Food is good. Seafood pancake was yummy but kimchi stew was too salty and had very little meat.Recommended dishesSeafood Pancake Korean Fried Chicken
Tasty dishes with more options than regular Korean restaurants. The service is also good. We will go there again for sure.
