PLEASE AVOID!! The service I received was extremely poor. It was an unpleasant haircut and an unpleasant overall experience. I'm not usually one to leave bad reviews but this experience was VERY disappointing, that I figured it was well worth my time to write this review, which happened a few weekends ago. Just wanted to save other ladies from added stress and hopefully give some constructive criticism to Steve, the salon owner aka stylist, regarding pleasing his customer/s. Firstly, the salon was super busy on a Saturday afternoon with 6 clients almost doubling the amount of their staff- which clearly states the salon is overbooking. I'm paying good money, I expect the focus and attention to be on me during my appointment. Instead, I was left hanging around not knowing when I will be attended to next. A simple cut and blow-dry ended up taking more than 2 hours. I was left looking like a 40-year-old (which I am in my 20s), with a mid-length choppy haircut and an absolute mess of a blow-dry. Steve asked what I thought. I was frank and told him I thought it made me look old and it was not what I expected and was VERY unhappy with the cut. He kept replying ‘I don’t understand why’ and proceeded to charge me $119. I left gutted that I had to pay for such an awful hair cut. I have been to many Toni & Guy salons in the past and they have all been a lovely experience. This is the worst salon experience I have ever had. Instead of offering a refund, or even a re-do, like any professional business should, I felt like Steve had no regard for keeping his customers happy- he did not offer once to rectify my hair catastrophe. All that mattered was making a profit even after when I had calmly stated my dissatisfaction - I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
