First time here, very nice service from everyone. It is a nice , small coffee place, nice music, very fast attention. Delicious ham and cheese crossaint and moka. Also you have a different sweet option and fresh bread.
12/05/24 - Finally tried the famous Beef Pie. nWasn’t as amazing as I thought maybe expectations were too high after the Sausage Roll. Still it was pretty good!nnThe filling was rich with quality chunks of Beef and plenty of veggies Celery and Carrots cooked in red wine. The top was flaky and the base was soft and had absorbed the sauce. Felt it was lacking some seasoning though pepper and salt. Would prefer the filling more spicy and more seasoned!nnWould say it’s towards the expensive side. $10nn4/5 nn06/04/24 - The sausage roll was something else! The best I’ve had in Melbourne.nnI would say $9 is bit too expensive for a sausage roll, but considering the size it was massive and how good it was worth it. 5/5nnWhite sourdough was pretty good as well.
May-24: still amazing bacon and egg rolls, Palmier also excellent. Not as busy today compared to august-23 visited on a Sunday both timesnnAug-23: Wow, really beautiful bakery, and the service was excellent.nnThe bacon and egg roll was definitely my favourite, everything about this worked and I wanted another.nnI also really enjoyed the ham, cheese and tomato croissant, it was surprisingly juicy and the texture was great.nnThe almond croissant was above average, but I'm not sure if it was worth all the rage.nnThe best item was the Palmier, I think it was the best I have ever had better than any I have had in Europe.
The food at Tivoli Road Bakery is outstanding and truly reminds me of France — the pastries and bread are exceptional. However, the customer service is terrible, especially from one staff member, an Asian girl, who seemed particularly rude and dismissive. It’s a shame because the food is amazing, but the experience is ruined by the poor attitude. With better service, this place could be incredible.
We had palmier, almond croissant and Vegemite scroll. Palmier was tasty, crunchy and buttery. Almond croissant and vegemite scroll were okay. They were tasty but not very flaky. We went a bit too early for sausage roll. Sausage rolls were not ready at 8:40 so we’ll probably go back to try sausage roll next time.
