Nice Italian restaurant. Staff certainly turn on the Italian charm and it's fun. Enjoyed sitting upstairs in an intimate, romantic setting. Great wine list. Food was as expected. Prices are on the dear side, an enjoyable experience and would certainly visit again.

Good food. Bit surprised there was no garlic bread on menu. Also. Not really sure if the 1kg of fish was really 1kg (I'd normally have trouble finishing 1kg of meat, hence why in suspect it was probably closer to 500g). But it was enough regardless. Definitely worth going

Fantastic food, wine and a hearty traditional atmosphere puts Caffe e cucina amidst the greats in Melbourne. Very much enjoyed the home made pasta and would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty Italian bite. Safe to say I'll be back :))

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant in South Yarra. The staff were attentive, and lay it on thick, trying to impress as Italian speaker. One of the waiters actually spoke some nonsense to us in Italian - I recognised it as such, having some rudimentary Italian skills, and it made me question the genuineness of the staff. Despite this, it remained a great night and the food was good. We'd still go back to enjoy the food, but would listen more attentively to what the waiters were saying in Italian!
