We were visiting Waitara from Raglan. Customer Service and friendliness was great and food was well priced. Naan was okay, not amazing but average. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, heat was an issue. Our Medium Korma and Medium Butter Chicken had no flavour or spice.
Visiting from Auckland. Tried the butter chicken. It was so sweet it was like a desert! Naan bread looked good but didn't taste the part.
Love me some butter chicken My kids love it. can't really complain the chef knows what's good great service
Horrible owner with a terrible attitude. It was the first time we tried this place and we had only just stepped into the store when he got a nasty attitude with us especially with my boyfriend. He didn't like the way we greeted him for some reason a nod and started aggressively asking what was wrong with us. We proceeded to tell him to cancel the order and keep our money, as we just wanted to leave. But he insisted the food was ready right now - we ended up waiting another 10mins before it was done. Never apologised for his behaviour and just kept making excuses. We dumped the food didn't trust it and got our meal elsewhere. We'll never be coming back and I don't recommend anyone else does either.

4 star's for an smooth tasty curry. A nice friendly polite attitude from the young lady serving also. The smile gets 5 star's. Keep up the good work!!!
Owner has no respect at all. I specifically asked for something easy to resolve and he gave me an attitude with the most ugliest looks as he didnt wanna do what I had ask for. Not recommend his customer service!
Reasonable base curry but tends to overshadow final curry. Saag paneer was good. Chef makes a hot curry kiwi hot not really hot at all.
Awesome butter chicken, chef knows how to work hard, big thumbs up
Butter chicken is nice but the sauce is way too runny it needs to be thickened abit and the garlic naan bread well you can’t taste the garlic it just taste like plain naan bread, just abit disappointing as this is the only Indian takeaway shop in waitara.
