It was great to visit Tiba restaurant while my stay in Melbourne. It is a very famous place with a good variety of halal food. The place is very nice with a lot of indoor seating available. There are toilets, ablution area, and prayer room as well. The food was awesome but if the meat would have been more tender, it would have been nice. It might be due to too many people there when I went. Still recomended place
Tibas has been a favourite of mine for years. Back in my school days, I used to wag school just to come here for lunch with friends, and some of my best memories were made around these tables.nWhat I love most is that the quality has never stood still. The food has genuinely gotten better and better over the years, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back.nWhether it's a casual meal, a family dinner, or a catch-up with friends, Tibas always delivers. Even though I've moved quite a distance away now, I still make it a point to make the trip down at least once every Ramadan. The atmosphere, the buzz, the sense of community, and the incredible food make it well worth the drive every single time.nThe portions are generous, the flavours are consistently outstanding, and the service is always welcoming.nnHighly recommended.
Very delicious food, but long waiting times.nnWe had a table booked for 8pm, arrived at 7:55pm and wasn’t given our table until 8:20pm after we followed up again to ask where our booked table was.nnOrdered mixed pickles, fried cauliflower, garlic dip, and Tiba’s house set.nnEvery item absolutely delicious packed with flavour and generously portioned. Particularly the cucumber pickles were chefs kiss.nnMeat was juicy and tender, but lamb chop was a bit overcooked and dry. Dips were spectacular and very generously portioned.nnOverall a fantastic food experience, would definitely come back for the food.nnUnderstandably they were very busy for good reason, but the waiting/seating system seemed quite disorganised and several other patrons were visibly upset about the waiting times too. 20 minutes was quite a long wait for a table we had booked in advance, and were not updated/approached at all throughout the 20 minutes past 8pm about the whereabouts of our table.nnFood spectacular
Tiba’s Restaurant – nnMama mia… what an experience! The food was absolutely lovely, and the portions were huge, definitely great value for money.nWe tried the mixed grill and Hassan’s grill, and both were well above our expectations. Everything was cooked perfectly, full of flavour, and very satisfying.nnHighly recommend if you’re after delicious food and generous servings.nnThank you!
The food was very delicious and the portions were generous. The staff were polite and friendly which made the experience pleasant.nHowever, the place could be cleaner and more organized, especially the toilets.nThe prices were also a bit on the higher side. Overall still a good experience.
