I have attended yoga classes here over the years as well as pregnancy yoga classes more recently, leading up to the births of my two children. During my pregnancies, I looked forward to the classes each week as they helped me to mentally and physically relax, and ensured a good night sleep especially in the later months!! It was also lovely to be in the company of other mums to be and share our experiences. Viv’s calm nature and invaluable advice helped me to prepare for giving birth and I used the techniques she shared with us to help my mind feel focussed, relaxed and determined. Knowing that I had strategies to help me, gave me confidence and helped me to have positive birth experiences. Thank you so much, Viv! I look forward to attending more classes at The Yoga Den in the future!
Love that Viv adapts yoga class to suit all abilities - and you never feel pressured. I've kept yoga up all through lockdown and the online classes were a life saver Its great that studio is open again and everyone really friendly. I always feel calm after Viv's wonderful classes.
Viv’s yoga classes and precious weekly tips on how to handles difficulties and challenges of every day life , are pearls of wisdom and they have always been of great help and support for me ,since I started attending the Yoga Den in May 2014 . I attended Viv's classes for over a year including pre-natal pregnancy yoga. I cannot recommend her enough. If you want to learn yoga at your own pace, listen to your body, calm your mind and feel rejuvenated then this is the class for you. Viv gives you pointers throughout the class so you can adapt the yoga movements to suit you.
I have been going to Viv’s Yoga Den class for many years. The classes provide a well being for the body inside & out, they are refreshingly thought provoking & challenging. The Yoga den is a tranquil place to be. I cannot praise Viv enough, she makes every Yoga class unique every time
Viv is an inspiring yoga teacher. Her classes are so carefully and thoughtfully put together, and she makes you feel like you belong there no matter where you are in your own practice. She also shares her thoughts and wisdom, and creates a real sense of community. Her studio is a little oasis in Wallington. I started going to her classes in 2014-15 when I was going through a rough time and The Yoga Den definitely played a part in the journey to getting me back on my feet. She’s offering Zoom classes during lockdown which have been great. I moved away from London a couple of years ago, so it’s been lovely to practice yoga with her again.
I have been attending Viv's classes for about 4 yrs now. Her teaching has helped me develop strategies to manage stress and improve my life and outlook. Her classes provide specific teaching on poses, breathing and principles of yoga which can be challenging, but always in a manner that encourages acceptance and a non-judgemental attitude.
Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change. I've been a student in Viv's classes at The Yoga Den for a few years now, they truly are very special. It has been an absolute joy to be able to continue practising with a class through Viv's offering of online sessions. Before lockdown it would have seemed counter-intuitive to attend a yoga class remotely. Yet Viv's classes capture that bit of essence of community even though we are all in our own homes. I am so very grateful that in this strange time of distance and disconnect, the change that seemed impossible from studio to online has proved to be the very thing to balm and rejoin us all as we continue to practise together x
The Yoga Den is a haven of tranquillity and discovery. Viv is a wonderful teacher, compassionate and very knowledgeable. Her classes are small and intimate, friendly and welcoming and cater for all ages and abilities. You leave your worries at the door...the Yoga Den is my happy place! Namaste!
