Great food and fantastic service. It was quite chilly and food did take awhile to arrive even though it was quiet. However the food  was delicious. I had the beef and bacon burger and my friend had the seafood chowder. Good hearty, filling food. Would recommend.

The food was great- tasty and well presented but the service was terrible. It was like Fawlty Towers all over again! Tried to order wine which in a wine area should have been easy but they had run out of both choices which was hard to believe as the vineyards were within 10 minutes of the place!
Then the waitress simply forgot to come back and this was the start of a comedy of errors too many to list. It was entertaining to start with but after nearly 2 hours of total incompetence from the wait staff we couldn't wait to leave. 
The hotel itself is lovely but it needs to shape up with the service. Embarrassing especially for a tourist town.

We both had their fish and chips which were cooked beautifully. The fish was very tasty and coated in a light batter. The chips too was very good. I had a very nice coffee after.

Catered for dad's 80th, service was excellent, food was a fixed menu but was great and good selection of wine.  Nice setting also so overall well recommended

Stayed in the Mandaren Room, was a little disappointed as the first thing i see is brown stains on the white quilt cover. The shower tiles are old and some tiles damaged and no bath plug. The room and bathroom are large, which is great and the bed very comfortable but no aircond just ceiling fan which is noisy to keep on when sleeping.
