After walking around searching for a seafood restaurant, we decided on The Wharf. They were very flexible with our requirements and the food was great! We over ordered and couldn’t finish all the food and therefore missed out on my desired cream brûlée and sticky date pudding. I guess that means another visit before we leave.
Pre-Booked for an Anniversary celebration. Staff was very friendly and always around and helpful, even with a relatively packed venue. Would definitely recommend their Pork Belly with Scallops. Was very crispy and they manage to pull off an Asian style sauce and vegetables. Food: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Price: 8/10 note service charge for card payments
Stumbled across this bar after getting rejected from another. We had the samples platter and dessert. Both of which were very tasty. The staff were very polite and friendly. Our inquiry about the desert was answered and we ordered it. Thanks for a great time after being let down by others. Really made our evening.
Went for a 50th. Food was excellent, great outdoor location on the marina. We had the à la carte. Service was top notch. Food is of good portion. Seafood chowder is one of the best. Will definitely go back
Great food and vibe. I love Cheese & Chive Turkish Bread Turkish topped with cheese, seasoned with sea salt & fresh chives and the seafood plate was fresh and delicious.
This is one of those places that you know the food will be average but go because of the great views. The chicken schnitzel was ok but the seafood chowder was surprisingly good - big chunky prawns and salmon with a rich, creamy broth. Get that dishFood: 3/5
The food is of fine quality, but the steak I ordered would’ve been a bit dry, haven’t there was gravy. The other food was excellent and tasty. The service at the wharf was excellent and high quality, which cared for customers. However, the food at the wharf is very overpriced. The porterhouse steak is $48 but in reality is worth $30 at most. I assume the reason the food is so overpriced is because of the location. 7/10: too expensive but worth the view and tasty food, will come one more time in a few years.
We enjoyed delicious SA mussel pots and seafood crowded with reisling and aperol spritza as the sun set. Wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere along the beach. I think the cost was pricey but that was expected. Good service but wished one waiter a bit smiled more.Food: 4/5
I can't believe how expensive the food here is for the quality that you are served. Ordered entree salt and pepper squid, which was very average, the crumb was odd and didn't have much flavour $29. Had the beef ragu gnocchi as a main and it was fairly gluggy and the beef was dry. It was a surprisingly big serving, but not worth the price $39. Had sticky date pudding as dessert and I swear they use the little cups you buy off the shelf at Woolies and microwave, served with a bit of icecream $14. Total for 3 dishes was $82. Were this at a pub and cost half as much, it would have been okay. It was also funny that we were part of a birthday dinner where a cake was brought unknown to the guests, and the waitresses came around and took dessert orders. The birthday girl didn't have her cake because she ordered dessert off the menu.
I went to the Wharf to celebrate a friend's engagement - it did not disappoint! The food was excellent and the portions were extremely generous and presented to perfection. I had the stuffed mushrooms and the salad and it was absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed the drinks - they make a great latte! Great atmosphere as well and whilst I did not sit outside, it seemed like there was an absolutely breathtaking view of the beach either side of the restaurant. Definitely stop by if you are in the area!
