Drove out of the way for a coffee meeting with a customer as we beards this was a nice place. Arrived at 330 to be told “ sorry we are closed”. When asked why as the sign near the door says they are open till 4pm and their website says open til 5pm, response was “ we have had a quiet afternoon so we thought we would close up”. How can you run a business like this when you have advertised hours? I know and accept that some days are slow and thus expensive to run but suck it up, you chose to advertise your hours. And there are days when the cues are out the door, so some balance is struck. Lost my custom and not only for today.

Nice venue and very nice staff. Ordered the fish and chips for $24.00 and what I received was absolutely disgraceful. The fish had good presentation with nicely cripsy batter but was the most disgusting fish I have had in new Zealand. The fish did not have any attempt of seasoning, not even salt. This resulted in the fish tasting like old seaweed scooped up from the shore, it felt like I could not finish it as it made me feel sick. The chips however were fantastic, crispy, salted perfectly and soft in the inside. The salad was average, zesty dressing but nothing special. In conclusion, perhaps the other dishes were decent but do not order the fish and chips unless you enjoy chewing on a good piece of flavourless plastic. Very disappointed as I believed the restaurant had potential from the look of the venue and the chips.

A large group of us went to breakfast & whilst the service wasn’t life changing, it wasn’t bad either. Amazing views, incredible coffee frappe, however the food was less than average & incredibly over priced. I wouldn’t go back.
