Pies on Saturday morning were warmed up leftovers from yesterday. The fresh tray of pies that were sitting on the bench that just came out of the oven were for “later on.”
Nearly took an argument to get a hold of two fresh pies. I’ll try elsewhere next time.

I'm gluten intolerant - this bakery is great because they offer heaps of gluten free options. The gf bread is amazing - it actually feels and tastes like normal bread, unlike the really spongy gf bread that you buy in the supermarket. They also have large range of sweets, and even do some gf pies.

Only downside, but significant nonetheless, is price. Just buying a gluten-free loaf and a mince tart/caramel slice or something and that's already $10. And what's worse is that the size of the loaf has gotten quite a bit smaller over the past year - it's probably reduced by 30%, so it's honestly not that much bigger than a gf loaf in the supermarket. I love the bread, love its texture, but I struggle to justify spending $7.2 for a loaf of bread (when I can get it for $4 on sale, or $5-6 if it's not in the supermarket). 
I guess it's ok if you like having sandwiches, but because I tend to toast my bread, the texture of the bread doesn't really matter too much, especially if it's all crunchy in the end.

A real shame, it's this pricing that's made me go back to the supermarket... But I would still say give it a go, it's worth trying if you're gluten intolerant/coeliac.

Agree with all the positive comments. No other GF bakery other than this and the one in Bayswater on Mountain Highway, where everything is baked on premises. You can also buy frozen. No manufactured sweets and savouries here! Very tasty! They also bake GF mince pies at Christmas and their ginger bread is awesome!
