Breadtop at The Glen is always an excellent choice. The cakes and pastries are always fresh, super fresh as a consequence of high turnover. Recommend.
I’ve been to many breadtop stores, so far I’m impressed by the Glen branch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They will always remind you about your loyalty card, and inform in advanced if you want a bag or whether there is any surcharges involved. I wanted get the last cream cheese tart, but it was cracked, the staff actually offered me for free instead of charging me. The customer service is just great, which is rare to see nowadays. Keep up the good work.
Bought two cakes from the Glen store today. The rainbow cake was okay. Very disappointed by the mango cake. It was not fresh at all. Crepe was dried and the sponge in the middle was dried too. It was not fresh.
Tonight I bought a last minute small chocolate mouse birthday cake.Not only It looked amazing but tasted just incredible. I could tell the ingredients used were super high quality. And I have a very sharp sense of taste and smell, and am not pleased easily. But this cake was just perfect. Bread Top, keep the good quality please.
Served by one of the staff members in a very rude manner. Asked me to restart lining up like I am her non-behaved dog even though I am already in the line. No explanation nor apology after that staff member realised she was mistaken. I noticed that she has been serving all English-speaking customers quite professionally and that’s why I am certain she know how to handle customers with different cultural backgrounds a bit “too well”. Typical one Asian discriminated by another Asian. This sharing of my horrible experience sounds ridiculous but it was happened to me indeed. Will never come back to this shop again. Disgusting!
You wouldn’t think that Breadtop is the place to go for coffee BUT this is really the only place to go for REALLY GREAT COFFEE! Coffee has an Italian flair and if you are a coffee connoisseur this is the only place in The Glen for coffee. The baristas is also a great guy !
Get ready to wait in line. Aside from that the assortment and value for money is amazing.
Very poor customer service. I ordered a 5’ cake $29 today and the girl in the cashier just standing rolling out some receipt while I already put the money on the counter. I gave her 2x$20 notes, after she took it, she only gave me $1 coin back, so I told her that she didn’t give me enough change. She did not believe me and started to rewind the CCTV recording right in front of the counter. Even after that she still questioning if she didn’t give me the $10 and go back to check the CCTV again. If she pay attention in serving the customer and not offending the customer by her action, I will give a 5 star review as we usually buy the bread there and likes it.
Excellent coffee and very friendly service by the barista. Lovely bloke & always on for a chat. As luck would have it, the coffee from Breadtop was recommended by a work colleague, I'd never have tried it otherwise! Encourage people who frequent The Glen to give Breadtop's coffee a go.
Great service, amazing coffee always served with a smile ! The cakes are so delicious, especially the mango Gateau which I get every year for my birthday . I come here regularly with my family and we all love it .
