Very well appointed apartments, which were modern and clean. We stayed in 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with media room which was a great size for a family of four. Great pool area, although it does get busy, so you need to be early to get a seat. Short walk to Broadbeach restaurants and Pacific Fair. Will definitely stay again.
Great accommodation on the Broadbeach end of the Goldy. Value for money. Definitely recommend except for one or two cautions.nDue to its location to casino and nightlife, there are many party-goers coming in and out of the same building. Some of these have no respect for guests who enjoy a restful quiet night's sleep. The staff were a bit slow to respond to a disturbance. It still was dealt with I think which was good.nAlso at busy times and most times of the day, the lifts are very full.
Centrally located at Broadbeach. If you're flying into Gold Coast, the airport bus stops just a short walk away from The Star Residences. The residence is directly connected to the casino and there is a covered walkway which leads directly to the Gold Coast Exhibition Center for anyone who's in town for an event there.nnIt's a bit of walk to get to Pacific Fair Shopping Center as you need to do quite a big U-turn, but nonetheless very convenient. Across the road there are a large selection of eateries and the tram links to other parts of Gold Coast. The rooms are comfortably furnished and the lifts work efficiently! I'd definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a convenient location with transport links all within walking distance.
We initially booked into the Star Residences for 28 nights as we were aware from previous visits to the Gold Coast that the apartments were ideally positioned for accessing transport links, Pacific Fair shopping complex, beach and all of the entertainment and benefits offered by the Star Casino and Star Club membership. We were so well settled in our apartment, with all it's amenities and quality bathroom products that we cancelled a provisional booking at a Surfers hotel and extended our stay at the Star for an additional 12 nights. We would like to thank Ann and her team for helping to make our stay so enjoyable.
Good location to Broadbeach, we booked a 1 bed room and got a 2 bedroom which had the second bedroom and bathroom doors locked I’m not a fan of this practice if you only have 2 beds left let the guest have access. If you don’t like heights be careful we were on the 50 floor, pools are good and staff were friendly. I would only stay if I was working.
