My second stay with Dorsett on the Gold Coast, and once again they have gone above and beyond.nnI booked a twin bedroom because lack of availability as soon as I arrived the team has been extremely friendly and asked if I would like to have one king size bed instead of two queen.nnUnfortunately they were fully booked but the thought matters a lot to me.nnOne night I found a tiny stain on a bedsheet I notified them extremely late like at 12:00am and they still helped me straight away to get new bedsheets carm is the receptionist that assisted me, she’s awesome.nnLocation is excellent, central to broadbeach, however, it’s unfortunately quiet a detour to catch the tram if you want to walk there, because part of the hotel is still under construction. If an uber/taxi is picking you up it’s actually extremely easy to get there with a vehicle. There are many driveways whether you want to park at the front of the hotel or the back.nnThe rooms are top tier. They are exactly what you’d expect out of a very fancy 4 stars hotel. Clean and luxurious.nnThe rooms service is quiet disappointing : cheese sandwiches platters or crackers and salami… They’re more snacks than what you’d call a room service – cheese platters, crackers and olives, Snicker bars, etc.nnOverall very satisfied with my stay and I recommend this hotel. You get what you pay for.
We loved our stay at the Dorsett Gold Coast. The hotel was beautiful and facilities were great. Wish we had better weather to enjoy the pool. We got the executive room and enjoyed the benefits of the executive lounge. Canapés and drinks for sunset and breakfast at sunrise.nThe room was fantastic and the bed was comfortable. The only issue we had was that the battery for the card reader on the door went flat. But the team were so quick to act and got the door open for us. The staff were lovely and accommodating.nWould highly recommend staying here.
We had a wonderful stay at the Dorsett in Broadbeach and would happily return. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between comfort, style, and ease, exactly what you want for a relaxing Gold Coast getaway.nnFrom the moment we arrived, everything felt smooth and welcoming. The rooms are modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds and beautiful views that make it easy to unwind. The air‑conditioning is excellent a blessing in the February heat, and the overall atmosphere is calm and quiet despite being in such a central location.nnThe location is one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. You can walk to the beach, great cafés, restaurants, and the Broadbeach markets, and Pacific Fair is just across the road. It made our days effortless, no long travel, no stress, just gentle, enjoyable exploring.nnThe pool area is lovely too - clean, well‑kept, and perfect for cooling off on hot afternoons. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the hotel feels very well run. Bar staff were the weakest part of the staynnOverall, the Dorsett made our trip easy, relaxing, and enjoyable. It’s a fantastic base for anyone wanting good food, low‑impact activities, and a comfortable stay in the heart of Broadbeach.nnHighly recommended.
We stayed at Dorsett Gold Coast for a family trip and booked two Deluxe Twin Rooms. We were a bit disappointed to learn that this room type cannot be arranged as connecting rooms, which would have been more convenient for us. Aside from that, the overall stay was pleasant. The rooms were clean and the size was comfortable for our needs.nnThe highlight of our stay was definitely the swimming pool. It was perfect for enjoying water play with the kids, and we loved being able to swim both at night and early in the morning. The pool hours 6am-9pm were incredibly useful for our family.nnThere was a small issue after checkout, but the hotel handled it quickly and professionally, which we really appriciated.nnOne thing I feel is worth mentioning is the difference in freindliness among the reception staff. While two team members were warm and welcoming, one staff member’s noticeably indifferernt attitude made us feel a bit uncomfortabel. It reminded me how much a single interaction can shape the overall impression of a hotel. I hope this feedback can be taken as an opportunity for improvement, as the rest of our experience was lovely.nnOverall, we had a good stay and especially enjoyed the pool facilities.
Great hotel in good location with a relaxed and modern vibe. Stayed in deluxe panoramic twin room which was spacious with a huge bathroom and balcony. Good cocktails and yummy food poolside and the little cafe off the lobby does great coffee, banana bread and fruit toast. Unfortunately I booked the bed & breakfast package and the breakfast was over at The Star Buffet, which was AWFUL. Thankfully the Dorsett Hotel Manager gave me vouchers for the little cafe as there was no way we could endure that experience more than once.
