Nothing special! Would not say this is a 5 star establishment. Very cool and clinical with no soul. Had requested an early check in when booking but upon arrival was told they don’t do early check in. When we finally checked in and got to room it was boiling hot as sun was hitting the glass. The air con had not been turned on even though they knew we were coming two hours before. We paid for a 2 bedroom ocean view suite but on arrival second bedroom and bathroom were locked. Rang reception and they sent up a young boy who put on air con saying they never put air con on prior to arrival. 5 star? really! He unlocked the second bedroom etc that we paid for.nReception were perfuncturarly polite but totally distant. There was no laundry luquid, dishwashing liquid, sponge for dishes etc in the room. Had to go chasing it.nThe bed was comfortable but bedrooms smaller than in the on line photos.nThe two lay back chairs overlooking windows were uncomfortable and poorly designed.nMinimal pots and pans for cooking.nGood view from balcony.nPool outside okay but again felt very uninviting and clinical setting.nThe lifts were annoying and at times long waiting periods. The corridor where you exit lift to go to room is unwelcoming and plain.nOverall the whole place feels cold and clinical with no feeling of welcoming or warmth as well as that feel from receptionists.nLocation is perfect close to supermarket, restaurants, woolies, casino, pacific fair and Oasis shopping centres.nnIn two words Cold and Clinical but adequate. Not a 5 star experience by any means.
Not a good welcome on arrival. Room was not ready. Told in an arrogant manner to come back at 3pm despite having been told on booking that an early check in was possible. The apartment was hot with no air connturned on. Hardly a 5 star experience. Bed was good but bedrooms small and next to each other. No amenities inbroom had to go to reception to ask for basics. Felt unfriendly and unwelcoming.nThe location is good but hardly 5 star. More like somewhere between 3 and 4 star.nAloof reception staff.nLocation is good that's it.
Walked into the Meriton Suites Broadbeach today and was greeted with a sweet smile from Employee Iris. I kindly asked if i could view one of their 1 Bedroom Ocean suites before booking in for next month and she was so kind to action that request immediately with her manager and take us on a tour of their newly renovated hotel. Iris maintained such kindness, professionalism and was very knowledgeable answering all our questions and queries. Thank you Iris for being a beautiful and welcoming face to your company! Keep it up! I had an amazing stay at Meriton and honestly could not have asked for anything better. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness was absolutely on point, the room and facilities were spotless and very well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable.nnThe staff were superb. Every enquiry I had was answered promptly and professionally, and everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Their customer service truly stood out and made me feel valued as a guest.nnThe location was fantastic, conveniently close to so many Gold Coast attractions and venues, which made getting around easy and stress-free. Whether you’re looking to explore, relax, or enjoy nearby entertainment, everything is within easy reach.nnI would highly recommend Meriton to anyone and everyone. It’s especially great for families, as there are plenty of family-oriented activities and the overall environment is very accommodating.
