Best place to be with Families! Spacious elegant rooms, great views amazing service, definitely a 5 stars Hotel experience.nI would like to highlight that Alyss is so kind and helpful making our Family Holiday memorable! The only negative note: from our room we can still see the Star Hotel which reminds us of the abuse and mistreatment from their security guards that left our family and teenager girl with a trauma during our well deserved Holidays. Thank God we got upgraded with great service and spacious rooms at Meriton. Praise God!
Our room was prepared not properly even though our check in was not allowed to 3.10pmnWe booked a Ocean view room which costs extra but you only get ocean views glimpses thru the other highnrises.nYou can not sit on the balcony or open the door due to the noisy industrial air condition on the ground floor which filters upnThey also only change towels and every 4 day.nWho said it was 4 star
The location is great. Convenient, 10 mins walk to the beach, close to pacific fair. Unfortunately the rooms are extremely dated. They were upgrading their reception when we were there, which doesn’t make any sense with such old rooms. The room smelled extremely musky, there was definitely a moisture issue. There was dust in every corner of the room, and along all the walls. Bedding had marks on it from being so old, including a hole in one of the sheets.nnDuring out three night stay, we did not have room service staff attend once for cleaning. We had to ask for more body wash from day one.nnConsidering the price of the stay, it can be expected that the rooms aren’t perfect, but we did not enjoy our stay, but bared with it since we were only there three nights for a wedding. We will not be staying here again.
My partner and I stayed at the property for three nights in the one-bedroom suite. The view was amazing and the Hotel General Manager surprised us with a bottle of complimentary bubbles and balloon as we were celebrating my partner’s birthday. We were so impressed with the 24-hour reception and although there were construction in the lobby and around the building, it didn’t affect our stay too much except for the lifts as one was down and it took a while for the other two given how busy it was over the weekend. The bathroom was a little dated but still very clean. Parking was easy, just $12/day for hotel guests. There’s a convenience store, Chinese restaurant and cafe next door. Definitely great value for money and would love to stay here again.
My husband and I stayed at the Meriton Broadbeach recently. It was a wonderful experience! It's always a worry to have to navigate a hotel with my husband's mobility scooter but it is a perfect place to stay with this issue.nnWe were impressed by the customer service and in particularly Cian on the front desk.nnFrom the minute we checked in we felt welcome and safe. It was a bit like home away from home in a great place, great location and with friendly, hospitable staff. We will be back again! Thank you.
