We have been a regular to the Star for many years but after the meal we had today we won't be back. It was terrible and half the size that it usually was. The prices have increased. I feel for the wait staff because it's not their fault and I'm sure they would be dealing with the complaints. WON'T BE BACK

By far the best restaurant I have been to. Every meal is cooked using fresh produce, is delicious and cooked to 5 star perfection. The staff are friendly, professional and go out of their way to ensure their customers have a dining experience to remember and want to repeat the next time they choose to dine out.

I don't usually have high expectations for pub meals but the Star certainly was a pleasant surprise. My seafood pasta was nicely done. Seafood not overcooked and nice flavour. Definitely proper restaurant standard. My partner had eye fillet which looked rather good too.
