An amazing dining experience! Staff were friendly and attentive. The coffee was incredible! And the food… well the Buddha bowl was a taste sensation with EVERY bite! If you want somewhere to eat in Sale - DEFINITELY pick this place!
Been there a couple of times good coffee and usually usually pretty good meals, but the two last time were disappointing. The banana bread were not good at all, it looked greasy and tasted like biting in an uncooked cake. And the week after the cookie seems uncooked as well. A bad batch? A newbie in baking? Anyway I will think twice before I take another sweet treat :
Delicious meals & drinks, in this busy Cafe, arrived quickly by wonderful, friendly staff. Extensive menu with generous lunch serves, Proud Mary coffee and a sweet treat to complete our lunch. Try the Mushroom bruschetta, Sweet potato burger, or the Omlette. Thank you, will definitely be back.
Dropped in here in the way back to Melbourne from Metung and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and drinks. Ordered the lamb salad and banh mi and both dishes were fresh and delicious. Lamb salad had a heap of ingredients in it and zinged together well, although was massive so probably could share between two people. Fast paced vibes and friendly staff, would recommend for a decent brunch.
Delicious food in a great location just near the waters edge at the Port of Sale. We had the Caesar Salad, Sweet Potato Burger and Pumpkin Salad - all yummy !
We usually dine here for breakfast or lunch and we love what's on their menu especially the crushed avo and benny bagel for brekky and mexican bowl for lunch. However today I opted for a slice of banana bread and my wife got the buttermilk pancakes. The photo showed a gooey mess and a pancake that is soaked to the core. We politely asked the staff if that was how it was served normally and they said yes. Unfortunately it didn't go down well with us and I am not sure if many out there love having their pancake served already submerged in the compote. We expected the compote and cream to be served in separate serving plates and then we can put the amount to our liking. So do keep that in mind if ordering this next time. As for my banana bread, again it was similar to the pancake as in it was soaked in butter already! And cold. I had expected those packets of butter spread to be served beside it but no. Was a very disappointing start to today really.
Nice ambience and brekkie spot. The almond croissant was underwhelming but it was a nice place to stop for a few minutes and check out the local happenings
Got a takeaway Jimmy burger here on the 18th August while on a work trip with another colleague, it was that good I was going to come back the following weekend but couldn’t due to lockdown! The burger was one of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked meat patty which was juicy and not dry, and all of the ingredients went great together, not to mention the portion size was a bit larger than the usual so I was actually full afterwards instead of wanting more! I was also blown away by the friendliness and welcome from the staff as you walk in, and even getting the food handed to you while you wait was a nice touch. It was very busy on the day, and the food came out quickly. It’s also a great atmosphere inside as well with high ceilings. Very highly recommend and will definitely be back after the lockdowns. The reviews are definitely testament to how good the owners are running this business.
Seriously one of the best cafes I have been to all across Australia. Excellent large and diverse menu to the point where it is hard to pick what to order, and friendly staff. The food is on point every time - I have never been disappointed.
Coffee was really good and the food was above average
