Story

The Sporting Globe - Moonee Ponds is the latest edition to an award winning bar and grill group in Victoria, Australia. Our Geelong venue recently won Best Sporting Entertainment Venue in the 2012 Australian Hotel Awards and was recognised as Best Sports Venue by FoxSports. We look forward to bringing all the same atmosphere, LIVE sport and quality food to the Moonee Ponds area.

The concept is one where modern New York Sports Bar meets ‘true blue’ Aussie pub culture, with meals done to the highest quality. The menu features great steaks, burgers and wraps as well as international best sellers such as NY Buffalo Chicken Wings and signature sauces. A large range of beers are on tap, along with a strong selection of Australian wines and feature cocktails.

The Sporting Globe has high community involvement in local sport, sponsoring many local teams and clubs. Its Sporting fit out make it the best place to watch sport in an unrivaled environment with over 40 screens and TAB facilities.

Depending which sporting globe you go to the food can sometimes be hit and miss. I've found the best service to be at Moonee Ponds by far and same goes for the food. Their Trivia night are also good fun

Great venue for sporting events, plenty of TVs around to enjoy the action so you don't miss anything. There are even TVs in the booths! Great selection of wing flavours, keen to come back and try them all.

I had my engagement party at the sporting globe Moonee ponds, I absolutely loved it there, the staff was fantastic, everyone loved the food. I would definitely host another event there. Thank you to the team at the sporting globe 

Quality buffalo wings and burgers. Lots of screens around the place. Perfect venue to watch a fight / game. Half price wings and pints on Monday’s, can’t argue with that.

Another magnificent pub. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff, and some awesome beers as well. The perfect place to watch sport.

Good food. Had burgers, parmas & wraps. Chips are great. Casual dining with sports Tv. Would recommend families or groups of people keen for a chat.

i love a good sports bar and i have been to a few the whole sporting globe franchise is spot on, and this one particularly is one of my faves.

Nice place to grab a beer, watch a match and chill. You can also bet here. The food is amazing as well.
