We were seated quickly and placed our order. We had the Spinella special family size pizza which also arrived quickly. The pizza was ok but not great. Not much variety of topping, all red or yellow. I prefer a thicker base too

Sensational!!. My family and I had a wonderful culinary experience.  We happened to stumble across this little gem, whilst visiting from Perth.  The food was fresh, full of taste and plentiful.  The staff were friendly and eager to please.  I noticed that the owner/manager made time to have a chat with patrons, which indicates that he's commited to the businesses success. Our children were even given free icecream, for being well behaved.  I would definitely eat there again, on our next visit to Melbourne.

Seriously the best Pepperoni pizza I've ever had. The slices of pepperoni were large and flavourful, the cheese, sauce and oil mixed together perfectly in a concoction of liquid heaven. The chefs here should be proud of themselves, truly amazing artists.

Very Disappointed. Ordered a medium Mexican pizza; least they could have put 5-6 pieces of salami or more capsicum. increase more topping for the kind of money they are charging; felt cheated; better i could have bought frozen pizza from safeway just across and made myself;

Home delivery. Lasagne was so bad our daughters had a couple of bites then wouldn't eat it. Sloppy pasta, meat tasted off. BBQ chicken pizza so bad our son didn't eat it. Sloppy and fell apart when we picked up a slice. Ortolana pizza OK. Omelette pizza OK but not much flavour to it. Very dissapointed.

The classic 70's decor was wonderful but the food was terrible. We shared three different pastas. The pescatore had small bits of cheapest ingredients and was too salty. The Pollo Fungi had small bits of chicken. Only my friend tasted this and was not impressed. The Ortolana was supposed to be "Assorted fresh seasonal vegetables served in a light tomato basil sauce". I did not see any vegetables and it had a heavy salty sauce. We could not finish any of the pastas: the saltiness was too extreme. They need to lift their game. It is in a prime location and all the other restaurants are doing better business.  "

I highly recommend Spinella's Restaurant. I come here a lot due to the fast service, fantastic food and warmly inviting environment. Families, couples and business diners are all catered for as the menu has a wide variety of meals. Spinella's will satisfy all!

Good customer service but slightly pricey

I have been here 3 times and each time I've been very happu, reminds my of the 90's style Italian food you would find down Lygon St this place is a real time capsule and I hope it doesn't follow the modern trend and keep that Italian Melbourne style alive.

New to the area and thought I'd check it out.  Good price, great fresh food, staff are friendly and they deliver too. Would recommend.
