I found the website very easy to navigate and understand. All instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I was very impressed with the phone call to check all measurements were correct prior to the order being finalised. The person we spoke with was very knowledgeable, patient and so helpful. The shutters arrived at the promised time and we are very impressed with the quality of them They were super easy to install and the fit is absolutely perfect. I will most definitely be using you again for my next shutter purchase.
Shutters arrived within promised time and to check installation instructions I looked up the video on their website which was very informative and straightforward. The installation went really smoothly and the shutters fit perfectly. We are so pleased with the final result and will recommend them to anyone thinking of shutters.

Customer service was amazing from start to finish. We had some awkward windows and they got back to us instantly with how to measure. We followed their instructions and they fit perfectly. The shutters were well packed with protection and easy to install. Over all VERY happy!
Fantastic customer service in calling me to check measure and explain the different types of shutters. The shutters took the full 13 weeks to arrive in Australia. They were well packaged and of a much higher quality than I expected. There was some damage to one of the frames at the connection point potentially damaged in transitwhich my carpenter was able to fix for me. The measurements were spot on and I’m so happy with the finished result.
Really happy with our shutters. super easy to measure up and install. took about ten weeks to arrive but i guess Covid is to blame like all products at the moment. very responsive to emails and confirmed all measurements before order thanks Shutters Dept
I just want to share that I had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The shutters were easy to fit and look amazing. Definately take the option to check the fitting and measurements.. Thank you to all the girls at the Shutter Dept team, you were all awesome to deal with..
I ordered shutters for our bathroom reno with the promise to get them within 8-10weeks. It’s now been 15 weeks and I still don’t have them. I need another set of shutters but will look elsewhere. Update: received the shutters after 16 weeks. Apparently there was an issue with a shipment taken off the ship. Customer service after my complaint was excellent so I've added a star.
I recently dealt with these guys and have been very impressed from start to finish. The plantation shutters are of a very high quality finish, but the whole process around getting the samples, measuring and ordering was made easy by their excellent website and their helpful staff. They kept me updated about the delivery process also so two thumbs up for these guys. Their pricing is very competitive and transparent, and is there for all to see on their website. Overall, seem to be a very efficient business.
I’ve ordered twice from The Shutters Dept and both times, they have arrived perfectly and the install has been simple.
