Olinda Sweet Co opened it's doors in February 1997 and shortly added it's sister store in Sassafras- Sassafras Sweet Co.
They have become icons in the region for the thousands of tourists that travel to the Dandenong Ranges annually. It is also strongly supported by the local residents.
In 2012 both stores underwent a total transformation, giving them a fresh, colourful look while still keeping the old-world feel.
