We had a fantastic stay at The Queen’s Gladstone Hotel. The room was excellent—clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. We also ate in the restaurant and were thoroughly impressed. The food was outstanding and the table service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. A wonderful all-round experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend it to others.
We just had the most wonderful experience in the sports bar. We had the most patient and attentive bar staff member Stacey who we couldn’t fault. She helped our little boy and girl with ice and water when they had accident hurt themselves, gave us kids colouring in was more than happy to show us the new indoor gold experience which they loved! The food was also amazing! Was a great family experience that could have easily been more stressful if it wasn’t for the lovely help of the staff.
We went here tonight for a family dinner and it was surprisingly good! The food was yummy and portion sizes were generous. The service was the real standout, everyone was friendly, professional and helpful. We felt welcomed, wined and dined for sure. They had a highchair for our baby as well. Location is handy too as it’s right in town.
Went to restaurant to eat, ordered 300g T-bone. There is no way it was 300g and if it was then half was fat. Asked for medium rare not hard, turns out it is. Clearly cooked on an uneven hot plate, one side charcoal the other rare just shy of blue. Not sure about the pepper sauce either, tasted like gravy with ground pepper sprinkled on top, chips were good though. Yeah I ate it, had been driving for 10hrs wanted to eat and couldn’t be bothered sending it back. Staff are great, food is not. Go to Maccas or anywhere else.
Room totally refurbished. New mattress and extremely comfortable. Renovations happening on site so very little parking. No chairs or seating area outside for smoking. Shower had big rain head and pressure was great until you realise at any decent level it floods the shower room as the drain cant handle pressure so shower only works on a very low pressure. The air con worked great but the vents wouldn't stay up so blew straight onto the bed until we taped it up. The shower floor is patterned luckily which was hiding all the dirt we found after flooding the room by having a shower. The receptionist was fantastic. Perhaps after all refurbishments are complete we might consider giving it another try but with the amount of hotels in the region I highly doubt it
