My partner, myself and our 4 month old went for lunch today, and we probably extended past her nap time a bit oops so she was unsettled. The staff were extremely understanding and accommodating, and Priscilla especially was very kind and attentive. She offered to hold the baby while we are our food as she was still too little for their high chairs. We got a few mouthfuls in before having to take her back again, but it was lovely to be given a few bites of food without a baby on my lap! Food was delicious and service fast and efficient.Thank you team for going above and beyond!
Can only speak about restaurant. Service was good but food has its shortcomings. Starter arrived after main courses to the table. Drinks are also quite expensive 14$ for a beer, 20$ for a small cocktail that tastes just like pineapple juice. Could do better
1 hour wait for food after 20min in line ordering. Poor service.nCaesar salad horrible. Typical australian venue where they just have to ruin everything with junk. Too sweet and overpriced.nNot even QR codes on tables. Go in line for 20min and wait 1h for food, at least on Saturday.nWaste of money!
Food was very disappointing. Garlic bread was the highlight fresh and hot.nMains I had Roast Pork. Everything was cooked the day before and heated up. Vegs were stale and had that microwaved taste and feel about them. Pork was reheated and piled up and then drenched in gravy not an attractive look on the plate.nSalt and pepper Calamari was not cooked in hot oil and was very floury in taste a mountain of poorly cooked chips accompanied and were very unappealingnHas all the traits of laziness in the kitchen Needs a Gordon Ramsey interventionnThe staff were friendly and helpful. Patronage was down and that should have set off the red flagnI’ve had some great meals in the past here but this is by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Gladstone
The questionaire isn't relevant;n* Great venuen*Catered well to our functiomn*Friendly Staffn*Efficient taffn*Roomy DOSAnn*Beer was rediculously over priced.nnThis is Queensland, fair go. Everyone loves a drink.nMake it more affordable and people will stay longer and spend more.nnI just left venue management 6 months ago, 12yrs experience and know the prices you are charging are not relative, considering buy back prices for running specials with your suppliers.nnPlease sort this out, don't be like 'the rest'
