Room was very clean, well furnished and comfortable. Bedroom air conditioner was quite noisy so opted not to use it. Thankfully the weather was quite mild. Reception staff were very nice. I’ll stay there again
The lady running the hotel is nice, but unfortunately the walls are very thin, and I could hear the sound of the main road. I have a sleep tracker, and I literally got 0/100 sleep quality. First time I’ve ever had such a bad sleep. Curtains let in a lot of light at the top. Also the smoke detector is constantly blocking right above the bed. Also the bathroom lights didn’t work.
The location was very convenient and within easy walking distance to shops etc. the views to the Port were great.nThe place is aged but clean. The outdoor furniture on the balcony was a setting for 4 but only had cushions on 2 chairs. It could do with an upgrade. The shower leaked around the bottom of the glass door so leaked onto the tiled floor. It’s not sealing properly. Neither of these things caused us major problems but just wanted to let you know so they can be attended to.nThe bed in the main bedroom is not comfortable. The mattress is saggy so we didn’t get a good sleep.
I didn’t enjoy my stay at all. Firstly, I had to park atleast 500m away from the apartment. Parking was full in the parking lot.That made it very difficult for me. My Room light was so dull and I had asked the reception to take a look and nothing was done. I wasn’t able to work at all and this was affecting my eyes, which resulted in a headache.I would suggest buying new Towels as mine seemed very old and also changing the rugs of the room, abit of paint.
Recommended and very good especially if wheelchair access is required. We found it good for our short stay: comfortable, affordable, quiet, convenient, functional, central location, easy to find. Not luxury but definitely not roughing it either.
