Very satisfying food, lovely and authentic. Big portions. Service is good. Dining room and ambience is fine but nothing special. I’d happily go there again.

This place has the best Chicken rice, perfectly poached in seasoned stock. I find myself craving a plate as I right this review. The laksa, I am told is also excellent but I find it hard to pass the Chicken rice. Used to go every week but have been living OS for a while. I recently popped in there and the lovely couple who own it greeted me as if I'd never been away. Go with friends and try everything Is what I suggest.

Great good. Tried their hainanese chicken rice, eastern coast combination laksa. Pricy, but worth the money. Will go there again & try other dishes.

OLD FASHIONED BUT AUTHENTIC SINGAPOREAN FOOD Quirky restaurant where the staff are up close and personal and the food is simple but so authentically Singaporean that you almost feel like adding "lah" at the end of your order :) On a busy road in Fitzroy so you need to scour around for parking.. but its worth it!
