I have been a long term North Face customer and I celebrated my Birthday last week. They sent me a voucher for $20 Off, I though great I might buy something. Little did I know that this was just a scam they have fine print that states "not to be used with any other discount or offer" the trouble is they inflate their prices so they can show a certain percentage off. After many many years buying The North Face gear we will be parting company. If you give a discount to a loyal customer, just give them a discount. Anyone with basic mathematics can figure out what the saving is. You look up how much I have spent over the years, is that a good business decision?

Absolute brilliant service by young Owen V. His knowledge in goose down technology is unrivalled and shows he is compassionate about the range of clothing that The North Face has to offer. 5 stars; this man deserves a pay rise!

Shopping at the store is always a pleasant experience. The staff are very knowledgeable and always greet you with a friendly smile when you walk through the door. Kelly helped me find a raincoat that was reliable, compact and within my price point. An all around lovely time.

I purchased a waterproof jacket - not a cheap one, but I thought a decent brand so should be ok. It’s not kept the rain out from new. Few months old and it’s simply not rainproof. When I spoke to the staff at the shop I was informed I needed to buy spray etc etc. Considering it did not perform adequately new- plus it’s only been used 3 times, being informed I’d need to spend more money on it... no way. I will go buy another brand and hopefully get something that ‘actually is waterproof’. Overall fairly disappointing experience. I don’t think I will be purchasing other products of this brand.

I was not interested in anything till I saw the backpacks.  The north face shops everywhere in hk are not as good as their Australian counterparts lol  The waterproof backpacks folds up into small pancakes about 2 inches thick, for easy storage eg in car or under your desk. The medium size just over 60 litres is $240 aud and can still fit in overhead compartment on plane I always travel light and don't waste time waiting for check in luggage coming out at carousels as I am very unlucky and always last.  I did a photo comparison against my 61 litre Nike Brasilia sports duffel. The North Face bag is clearly wider. It can easily fit 3 full size basketballs with room to spare. Soccer balls are smaller than basketballs.  If you need a large waterproof backpack, this is the one to buy. Zips are thick metal so don't worry about ripping them off. I am quite strong and have ripped a few off cheaper constructed backpacks  Backpack Straps fully detachable and easy to do so.  ONLY downside is it doesn't come with a waist strap or chest strap which comes standard on backpacks this size.  Note medium size is already big and then in 20 aud increments u have large, xl and xxl. All were on display in the shop. The xxl can fit a small child lol  There was a nice guy and an impatient guy at the store chatswood Westfield

Staff didn't even ask if I needed any help, were to busy taking amongst themselves. Very small range, very disappointing.

Listed as flagship store but is actually small with limited selection. You're better going to other retailers who stock north face than visiting this store

Great customer service from Graham who helped me out with buying gift cards for Christmas presents.....attention to detail and good customer service skills still exist!  Thanks Graham.
