Story

After relocating to the Gold Coast in January 2016, and starting up The Nail LAB in September 2016. Lauren is an extremely highly passionate, dedicated multi award winning nail technician based within Bullet Proof studio, Gold Coast. Specialising in nails of all variations acrylic nails, Hard Gel Nails, Dipping System Nails, Natural Nails, Manicure, Pedicure, gel polish and a particular interest in nail art. We guarantee bespoke one of a kind nails that are looked after with the highest possible care, we do NOT damage nails. If you want nails created with passion and attention to detail look no further.

Lauren has had opportunity to be a session manicurist for ad/marketing campaigns for Guess Watches, H&M and Scholl. Having also written articles for UK industry magazine Scratch Lauren always aims to be at the forefront of the industry.

I’ve been getting my nails done by Lauren for nearly 3 years now and I won’t go anywhere else. Lauren does an amazing a job and I’m sure I’m one of her most challenging clients. My nails cop a bashing at boxing and Muay Thai a few times a week, are constantly in water and chemicals. On top of all the abuse my nails cop, I’ve made some of creative nail art requests including marble, crystal pieces, mandala style prints, Hawaiian, flamingo, paint drop, chrome, hand painted patterns and glitter designs. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and Lauren is the only nail artist/tech who’s been able to provide me with a full set that looks great and lasts. It’s definitely the professional aftercare advice (if you follow it), attention to detail, Lauren’s workmanship and the quality of the product that make my nails last the distance. On top of that Lauren creates perfectly shaped nails, no thick chunky uneven ugly nails. I’ve always walked out of salon with amazing nails whether crafted with acrylic, gel, poly gel or gelish thanks to Lauren.

I am so glad I finally found someone who has such a passion for doing nails. Having had acrylic nails for 10+ years I have been to many nail salons & this is the first time in a long time that I have been so happy with my nails & the quality of them. Lauren really took the time to make sure they were perfect & I was completely happy with them before leaving. I would 100% recommend her to anyone! 💗
