I absolutely love Nail Affair and the girls. Have no idea why anyone would complain. Guess it could be jealous competition putting up fake reviews. I have been going to Nail Affair for over 10 years. The service is amazing. I always love my nails and my waxing is cheap and quick. You would be hard pressed to find anywhere better on the Coast. The other day I treated myself to a pedicure and have to say it was the best I have ever had! The leg and foot massage was so relaxing. Do yourself a favour and give this salon a try.

I have to advise that I would not recommend this nail salon. I don't normally like to give a business a bad wrap but this place was extremely poor and my nails have all snapped off half way down the nail and some are very painful. I went to get the gel nail colour done. Instead of soaking my nails or wrapping them in foil individually with solution to remove the existing gel colour, she insisted on buffing the colour off each nail with her nail file. When I questioned her on this method she had a real attitude like the other salons have no idea. I told her I have taken along time to grow my nails and I did not want to damage them with excessive filing/buffing. She assured me it would be fine. Well I'm telling you a few days later they all started to tear half way across my nail and I couln't even cut them as they were not below the nail bed. Then I got the most hideous gel polish put on which looked like my 3 year old did it. She put such thick coats on that they would not set properly under the UV lamp. If this is not bad enough, she wears rediculous rubber gloves (I know...just to paint nails) and keeps wiping all the polish on the sides of my fingers with her gloves to tidy up the nail and she can't understand why they are smudging! This place cannot do gel nails... I would hate to think what the acrylics were like! Very unsattisfied customer, will never return!

I love Nail Affair. I have just found this great nail and beauty salon at Mudgeeraba. I am always getting comments about how great my new set of acrylic nails look. They only charge $27 for a full set! The girls are really friendly and I am now getting my waxing done there too which is also really cheap and quick which is a real bonus as I never seem to have enough time for me!
