A great venue to dine at before or after visiting the spectacular Hellenic Museum housed in the former Mint. The food is good, bit on the pricier end, but yummy nonetheless. A good sized chicken parmigiana and a decent polenta stack. What ruins it for me is the self service concept. Reminds me of old poorer quality pubs or fast food joints. When it is busy it can mean your food gets cold whilst you queue up waiting to renew your drinks. At this price and style of setting, table service would be much better.
Came here for a work function. Was surprised by the quality of the food. Pictures weren't do it any justice. Steak was heavy, thick and juicy. Chicken was succulent and tender. Chips paired with the perfect garlic aioli sauce. I cannot wrong this place. Classic pub food with great quality and tastes. Recommend you bringing a mate or two here to try.
Great outdoor beer garden in the CBD. Much different to the rest of outdoor hangouts around where U are on the rooftop , this place gives U a very nice suburban vibe in the heart of the city. The food here is great, with great taste and right portion. The place can get busy on weekends , so strongly recommend reserving a table. The outdoor seating area is adjacent to the smoking area, where U can sit and have a drink and smoke like old times but no food served here . For people who can't stand the smoke , U better get tables around outdoor heated areas .
I took my disable Client to eat here because of the convenient location & low-key vibe from the outside. We were delighted to see a big beer garden with radiator heaters as well as a cozy indoor with beer on tap & outlets to charge our devices after being out all day. All the staff were really friendly & accommodating to my client & I & the vegan burger was a hit! I had the soup of the day, which filled me up even though it was an “entrée,” as the Aussies like to call it an “appetizer” to most of the world. Maybe was a bit too salty as I couldn’t really taste the vegetables. We’d love more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. Too bad we missed the trivia night because it looked like fun, but we’ll be back next time we’re seeking a nice little cozy place to rest & get a bite in the city.
Well the Tuesday $22 parma special was well worth the stop. Beer standard prices and service was great this place was pumping at 530pm so get in early . You can order drinks and food from your table and is delivered I will definitely be back.Food: 5/5

It’s a great cbd pub with decent food. The beer garden is ‘mint’ on warm days with a decent selection on tap. The parma is top quality.
Amazing venue to host your next function. Very easy to deal with and the food were generous size portions. Even if it is raining as it was for us the entire outdoor area is covered, so no need to worry about that. There is parking next door too and it is located right next to Flagstaff train station.
Had my end of year function here for referral partners. Highly recommend this place. The service, food and staff are 5 star quality the whole way.
We had an amazing time at this venue for our club anniversary. The food is well prepared, tasty and accommodating to all allergies or eating prefences. The staff were very friendly, professional and easy to work with. The floor plan was perfect for an outdoor experience with an in house P.A. and music. Organising the the event was also quite simple with Catherine. I highly recommend this venue for your next function.
