The second you walk in the door the feel of the place the greeting of the staff. Outstanding. Food and drinks were served incredibly fast and the quality was top-notch I got a porterhouse steak medium well and it was cooked right on, not over or under right on. Wife steak was cook perfect as well. Other people eating ribs they look delicious.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Meat & Wine Co in Hawthorn East and tried their rib eye wagyu, and it was an absolute delight! The steak was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful sear on the outside and a tender, juicy interior. The flavor was rich and savory, with just the right amount of marbling to enhance the taste.nnThe sides were equally impressive, particularly the mac and cheese, crispy chips, and the fresh salad, which perfectly complemented the main course. Unfortunately, the pork ribs didn't quite measure up to the exceptional quality of the beef ribs.nnHowever, our initial experience was a bit rocky as there was some difficulty in finding us a seat. Once we were seated, the service was attentive and friendly, making the evening much more enjoyable. Despite the hiccup at the start, the quality of the food and the subsequent service made up for it.nnI highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch steak experience, with the hope that future visits start off smoother.
Lots of service when we arrived but staff seemed to disappear when we wanted something.nMy steak was lovely, however my son had the wagu which wasn't cooked as requested. As a result we were given 2 free desserts which was appreciated.
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Meat &Wine Co., and I must say it was an extraordinary experience, made even more special by the incredible service provided by Joy.nnFrom the moment we walked in, Joy welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that it felt like we were guests in her own home rather than at a restaurant. She made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and valued.nnThe food, as always, was phenomenal—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The vibrant atmosphere and impeccable service truly made it a night to remember.nnA huge thank you to Joy and the entire team at Meat & Wine Co. for creating such a memorable dining experience. Best experience i have had at Meat Wine and Co. We are frequent flyers and this franchise is our go to for any outing, from birthdays to anniversaries but i never have experienced such a great experience like today. The waitress Nora was amazing, very thorough and made us laugh throughout the night. She explained the menu and gave us advise on our halal dietary requirements and was very friendly and kind. She said Happy Birthday to me multiple times throughout the night which was very thoughtful and i felt very good and thankful that i chose Meat Wine and Co at Hawthorn East as my dinner this year as we usually go to Southbank. As we were wanting to leave without dessert as we were very full by the amazing food we had, she didn’t let us leave so she can sing me happy birthday, which was very sweet and kind of her. i wouldn’t have wanted my birthday dinner any other way. As for the food and drinks, everything was exquisite, my first time trying ribs and it was not a let down at all, so juicy and tender and the steak for my husband was cooked to absolute perfection. Will definitely make this our regular store.
