The worst Nando's experience ever. While ordering, asked the girl over the counter to make it extra saucy as it always tastes better than if added to taste later. They gave me a chewy chicken soooo overcooked that the skin refused to come off from some of the portions. The worst was yet to follow. The chef dismissed my complaint as if it's a free lunch provided to me with a freaking attitude - 'Ohhh they are cooked in flames you know... I can add more sauce if you want'. Left the chicken as it was!!!

It's Nando's what more can I say? 2 fun facts about Nando's - Originally started in South Africa as chicken land within the Portuguese community (largest outside of Europe). The chickens are marinated for a minimum of 24hrs in their lemon and herb sauce. Then oven cooked, before being flamed grilled when ordered! Its flame grilled chicken and peri peri sauce is famous world wide. Order the extra hot if you dare! For most mild or medium baste works best and peri peri (birds eye chilli) chips. Many have tried to imitate but none have succeeded! As for the Camberwell store, it's two storey but on the smaller side, which means limited seating. Great for take away, unfortunately no delivery at present. 1/4 chicken meal starts at $12, a whole chicken and side is $24.

Been here a few times and it has been a distinctly average affair. The final straw was when I ordered a takeaway to find out when I got home the order was wrong. When called to challenge incompetent staff, I was basically told I was lying and the order was correct. Won’t be coming back to his store again ✋🏼

The old lady over the counter is too lazy to answer any inquiry. The worst experience I've ever had in a nando's!

Not only were they staff taking my order unfriendly, they got my takeaway order wrong after I repeated it twice!! No standards... Maybe that's why they're empty at lunchtime....
