Beautiful meals. I had the chicken, bacon & brie burger. The desserts were wonderful too. Will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Great range of kid's meals to select from. Perfect portion sizes for the tweens.
The food was amazing. The service was excellent. A very enjoyable evening out.
The staff are awesome and friendly. The food is filling, yummy and goes with the English pub theme. Good selection of beer. They will often have specials for St Patrick’s day which is fun. A good place for a comfort lunch with work mates too on a winters day. Nothing like their pot pie and mash. One of few places in town to have Guinness on tap as well.
We have been going to The Londoner for many years be it for lunch, dinner or a drink or two with friends. Always feel welcome and warm there. The food is always good, as is the service.Food: 5/5
Stopped in here for a late lunch. Megan couldn't have done more for us. 2 amazing Delicious meals and amazing coffee to go with in super fast time. Will definitely be back in next wime we are in Hamilton. Thanks MeganFood: 5/5
Had an enjoyable night. Good atmosphere and service. Food was great. One little moan. The shrimp cocktail was overpriced for the size of the dish.
We had our wedding reception here over a year ago and the staff were so kind and accommodating. The manager even took some notes for her own wedding! The food was marvelous - we're still raving about it to all our friends and whaanau. If you're there, make sure you try the deep fried camembert and the hot pot pie! The apple pie is also legendary and goes well with a splash of beer.
Really looked forward to going to the Londoner, as we often do - it being the 'main pub' that we support with our group of 8-10 others. Surprised when we ordered that an hour later there was no food, even though those coming in after us were being fed. In the interim, three requests for information got three 'coming soon' replies. After an hour an attempt to fob us off at the bar was made, before a vigorous request for our money back provoked an understanding that the Pub had made an error. Good management would have responded with perhaps an acknowledgement of the error and some sort of credit. Instead we got a justification as to why the pub had ignored us. We felt insulted, upset and certainly very hungry. We are unlikely to return with this attitude to loyal patrons
