I am a local who buys 2 to 3 salads from here a week, they're insanely good (and healthy! :) The chicken and leek pie is to die for too. Have coffee here on a regular basis, they use a great blend - really smooth both as a long black as a latte. This is the best "home cooked" cafe I've been to.

I went here the other day with my partner hoping for a nice breakfast. We had booked with a living social voucher. Upon arriving, the staff were very unfriendly. We requested for an item change (for some toast) whilst we were ordering and were told that it could be done. A minute later a lady that I assume was the owner, came and told us very bluntly that the change couldn't be made because the food was already pre-made and if I wanted toast, why didn't I pick something on the menu that had toast? I found this very patronizing. Whilst we were waiting for our meals I overheard another waitress saying to a regular customer that she couldn't bring herself low enough to search for and use vouchers in a restaurant or cafe-she just couldn't do it! Why even advertise your business on voucher websites if you don't want people that you obviously class as not good enough or lower than yourself to come into your cafe??? We were treated like second-class citizens! I didn't feel comfortable at all. Even for a 'lower class' person like myself, the food was very bland and plain. Why were the eggs pre-made anyway?! I can't believe that they think that they will get people to come back after such appalling treatment!
