They’re lucky the food is really good. The ‘barista’ on the other hand needs more attention as I just purchased a large ice latte to go. I am watching him as I want to remind him to put a sachet of sugar on the espresso before putting it together with the milk. I first see him go get a large cup for the drink. But not a clear ice cup, he thought it was a good idea to get a hot take out cup. Since I noticed, and wondered why is he going to put my cold beverage in the hot take out cup, I asked him isn’t there a clear cup for ice take outs? And he looks at me blankly and says there is, and quickly turns around to grab one. I thought this was a little mix up he did, but no, he had ice in the hot take out cup that he poured in to the ice cup and looks at me saying, it’s a force of habit for me to make hot drinks. I was not amused but thought are you even qualified? Will never purchase a coffee there anymore as I wasted my breathe on not only the barista but also the waitress behind the register who gave me attitude for asking for prices.

Was there today.Nice varied menu. Food, cofee and service was first class. Will definitely visit again. I have been to numerous similar venues and reckon Jolly Miller Should rate higher in TripAdvisor rankings.

I always enjoy coming here; quiche Lorraine & beetroot salad today. Great menu choices for mains & desserts. Good service. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable for eating alone or in groups. Give it a try.

Extremely Rude. My daughter and children got here first , and while waiting ordered a cookie. On our arrival we moved to a bigger table (for 5) and told the staff we had moved - no problem, they would put the cookie on our new table bill. When l paid I was charged $28.80 (which should have been $20.80).l went back to the lady (who had a hat on) to ask how the bill got to $28.80. She was very annoyed, and said she had to look it up on the computer -not sure why this business does not issue itemised receipts. She quite rudely told me she was too busy to be looking this up. But I insisted, and yes, there were 2 coffees on the bill that weren’t ours. She then told me that it was my fault for moving tables, threw the $8.00 at me and walked away. Disgraceful-we will never be back.

Always great service and great range. Especially from Nick the coffee master 2000 and Celeste the service machine
