Had a lovely lunch today. Well cooked tasty dishes and enjoyed by grown ups and 10yo and 12yo kids. Friendly and helpful service. Will definitely be back!

Want Melbourne in Ballarat? Then you would give this 5 stars. I got all I asked for and quality was very good but couldn't make 5 stars

Hydrant is fantastic and will be definitely returning when next in town. Our table ordered four different dishes and all were superb. The quality and presentation of each dish was top notch. Another fine example of why the Ballarat food scene is so good.

Super food, creative menu. I need to go back to try more. Coffee great in a fantastic old building

Absolutely delicious and beautiful and just great, and no they didn’t pay me to say this.

Benedict and sliders were delicious. Potato and chives waffle added a unique twist to the Benedict, fried chicken slider was perfectly crisp and the sweet potato crisps were not soggy. Staff are friendly and provide good service.
