I’m not sure what is happening but instead of getting better, the food, the service and the quality is going down and down. We were initially impressed with the huge servings of the $10 chicken parmigiana, but tonight is was half the usual size, it was soggy and we waited 1.5 hours to get it. Such a shame! Won’t be coming back.
They have $10 chicken parmigiana Tuesdays normal price $26! It was a massive serving, and they gave us free garlic bread $6 value because our order was late. And bonus points for the sports on the many TVs.
Came on a Wednesday night and was surprised by the amount of people. Certainly more than when it was a pool hall and bar. The venue is nice and open, light and airy, probably great on a warm afternoon. Booth, table and bar seating available to suit small or large group sizes and dining choice. I had the parmigiana which was average as seemed over cooked and had no ham. Chips were ok but advertised as fries. Serving size was good for value so disappointing it wasn't a pleasure to eat. Postmix tasted unusual. Will try again and give another chance.
Went for dinner on Saturday, and was well above what I expected given the previous reviews. The service was fast and friendly, the cocktails well made and fairly priced. The food was good, we had the pulled pork burger with a porterhouse steak and they were both very nice. Extra points for the $8 frozen cocktails too. Thanks guys, will definitely be coming again!
Read the entire review as it is mixed. My wife and I used to go there fairly regularly, particularly on steak special and parmi special nights. We had not been for a while as we had been travelling in the UK. We decided to go last week on Monday and had the Parmi. The portion was absolutely huge for $10. We could not eat it all, and I have a healthy appetite!!. My chicken was at least 25mm thick and the portion took up 3/4 of the plate. Whilst it was excellent value for money at $10 they could reduce the portion sizes and still be offering exceptional value. The size actually put me off a bit. However, we went last night with a friend who has come over from the UK for the first time. We all ordered the porterhouse steak at $15. Again on the face of it , great value. However they have now stopped putting any salad on the plate at all which is a shame. Just the steak and chips looked bland. Worse though was how under cooked it was when it turned up. We all ordered medium well. The photo below shows the one cooked the most!!, They were rare at best. When we complained to the waitress she said someone would come over. After 10 minutes no one showed up so we asked again. Another 10 minutes went by and no one came. The waitress then began avoiding coming back to the area where we were sitting. Of course you have to pay in advance here. In the end I ate mine as it was going cold and I was hungry. I will eat rare steak but my wife and her friends both just ate the chips. When we asked another table how theirs was they said theirs were totally under cooked as well. It seems the chef has changed there and although the steak was tender it was not cooked as requested. They need to test the steaks before sending them out. That's what thermometers are for, but then a good chef should know by instinct. We all wanted a bit of side salad on the plate as well, as there used to be, but it seems that on the one hand they are giving food away Parmi night but on the other cutting back and being mean Steak night. Id have been happy to pay $18 and get some salad, as would most people I expect. I'm not sure we will go again as it was clear that the waitress service is not good very good now, and they clearly don't care if the food turns up as ordered. A shame as we used to eat their once a week, driving down from Jindalee.
Beautiful food every time. great views but atmosphere suffers due to size of venue being so large.
One of my favorite restaurants in Perth! I always come for the $15 Oysters on Wednesday. And the $5 chicken wings are so good and cheep! A cake with one cup of coffee are only $6. I love this place so much and they never make me disappointed.

Always a favourite with the family. We recently had a very large group booking and food service was prompt & meals amazing as always
Excellent venue. Came here on Wednesday night and had the seafood platter special. Great price $20, really filling, well cooked, heaps of seating/space. Good service and came out in a decent time frame. Lots of drinks on tap. Would recommend. Will be back again.
