Coffee and cake this morning at this quaint Cafe. Service was excellent. Food great but I felt there could have been more sweet options. I had the carrot cake which was moist & scrumptious. My hubby had the citrus tart which was delicious. Hot chocolate was extra hot as requested. Short macchiato was average. We will definitely return.
Food was very average and bland. Seemed like it was microwaved and used old ingredients. Smoothies were delicious and the service was good and the place was very nice however food was a let down.Food: 1/5

Food was very bad quality. Not hot at all. Baked beans were stone cold. Sausages had been probably deep fried as they were squishy and oily too. Has brown was well over cooked then microwaved so was brown and squishy. Frappe not a frappe. Just coffee and milk mixed. Won’t be returning at all, no value for $$ there I’m sorry to say.
The $10 rolls looked good on Friday, not so great Monday and rotting in the cabinet Is the only way to describe that same roll Wednesday. Yes it is the same roll I took a photo on Monday and Wednesday . When I brought a coffee Monday I mentioned it to the staff member that the the roll looked good on Friday not so great todayMonday ,she laughed . Sorry but I don't find food poisoning funny! Absolutely shocked to see the same rolls being sold Wednesday, even more shocked when my friend told me the cabinet didn't feel cold enough to be refrigerated. Unfortunately this is common in this area, there's a very good reason why I stick to the coffee. Why would I pay $10 for a 5 day old roll I wouldn't eat from my own fridge? I pay $5.50 for a sandwich from a truck stop filled with fresh ingredients ,salad ,cheese and two meats .I once got one for $3 because it was 12 hoursnot days old, If a truck stop in the country can sell great food why can't city cafes at least provide Edible food? I got a scone on the Friday $5 dry and horrible, still selling them monday . At least the iced latte was good.
Caffissimo is not balissimo. Had the big breakfast: scrambled eggs runny and looked as if microwaved, 2 tiny bits of bacon, cold baked beans, sour cherry tomatoes not full size tomatoes, canned champignons full of garlic. Companion had pancakes: obviously not made in store tiptop ones with cheap frozen berries thawed in a microwave they were warm. This was a birthday treat and we definitely won't be going back.
Extremely long wait for coffee for it to be lukewarm and not tasting like coffee! Scones were ok but didn’t have good quality jam or cream and chips where tasteless. Plates were dirty as well! Wouldn’t come back again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone ever!
Tea was beautiful hot and not too strong. Savoury scones however were gluey half-baked with 0 flavour and just warmed through. Should be toasted might be an improvement. The staff are lovely and serve you quickly.
Visited on a busy public holiday. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Food didn't take too long considering how busy it was. Will visit again!
I come into Whitfords Caffissimo regularly andI I just love their Breakfast Wrap, their chips and Sweet Potato chips, so yummy with Aioli. My latte made by the experienced Barista girl named Chloe is just how I like it. Very friendly staff and always patient, even with rude customers. Great spot for mum’s groups as has a play area out the front for the little ones. Highly recommend!
