Service better at other Good Guys. We went in to look at stick vacuum cleaners. The sales person did not care for our preference and immediately tried to upsell us to the top of range. When we insisted on looking at our chosen brand we were bluntly abandoned. It is this kind of service that causes people to abandon physical stores to use online options.

Purchased a LG stick vacuum last week, on sale, last one in stock. Got it home and realised it didn’t have the battery charger (my fault as I packed it up). As it turned out, the charger had been stolen (why anyone would want an extra 21V charger I don’t know). The staff immediately advised I could return it (obviously) or they will order me a charger from LG. I wanted the vacuum so they ordered it the Saturday 30 December, just before the New Year. It is now Friday 4 January and the charger was delivered to my home this morning. I commend both The Good Guys Chatswood and LG for making this happen over Christmas so quickly. Haven’t used the vacuum cleaner yet but once I have I will write a review on it.

Its taken 4 months to the date from day of purchase to receive the $100 cash back offer on an advertised refrigerator. Three telephone calls to chase it up and I still can't activate it. The icing on the cake from not being able to make an over the telephone purchase, had to come into store to seeing the store man drop someones TV from the forklift whilst waiting at the back dock for collection. The front counter staff were unsure of how the cash back offer worked and were confused when explaining it to me. These people couldn't buy you a beer in a pub!

I’ve been trying to contact the store for a product stock enquiry and their phone is never answered. I’ve been trying everyday for a week. At one point they picked up and someone in the background I’m guessing another worker said, your not suppose to pick up the phone, and then hung up on me. Kept trying hour after hour day after day and no answer. Very ignorant and bad service. Then I go to the auburn store, and the front counter lady was completely rude and ignorant not even taking notice of me as I was in line waiting. No wonder they have bad feedback. That’s one company down for me, I’m moving to JB Hi-Fi for all my electronic needs for my company.
