I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing and the best Chinese I have had in years. Well priced, value for money and tasted amazing. Staff were very happy and friendly. Great location also. I will happily drive the hour + for this Chinese food.
Difficult to find our way into the restaurant, but once we got in staff were as helpful as they could be; need extra staff with one young bloke doing most of the front of house jobs. Unfortunately they ran out of ingredients and we had to change our order. The red curry was nice but the special rice was not that special.
Great food, great service, great location. Recently dined for a friends birthday with a few friends and family. We had the banquet menu. Meals came out well spaced and we had so much food. Food quality was great and fresh.Nothing was overpriced.
Not sure how it is ranked "best" Chinese in Toowoomba, we eat out at Chinese restaurants a lot & this has to be the worst one we ever ate at in our life. We ordered garlic prawn sizzler, spicy fried rice & crispy combination chow mien. The sizzler was average, 'spicy' fried rice was AWFUL, they just added a ton of curry powder making it taste extremely bitter, no 'spice' and the authentic Chinese flavour of fried rice wasn't there. Couldn't eat it. The combination chow mien had bare minimum noodles, the noodles were cut into quarters and it was basically a chicken dish with absolute minimum noodles, also no flavour and the chicken had a strange smell to it genuinely instant pot noodles taste better than what we had! Service was extremely slow. Oh, and chicken sweetcorn soup for starters was extremely thick. Overall a very poor experience. If you are searching for better Chinese restaurants I suggest the one in Grand Central shopping for better quality.
I was disappointed in not getting the fried icecream that i had ordered at the beginning of the meal. I was really looking forward to this and when I told him we were ready for ours, he said he'd run out. Seemed very strange that all fried desserts were no longer available as it was near closing time. I had ordered at the beginning of the meal and there were plenty coming out during our meal. So so disappointed. Made me wonder if they'd turned the fryer off. Whilst the food was pretty good and the portions were of a good size, the chicken n cashews was a bit salty. The service was good however i would have liked to have been notified about my fried icecream!
Amazing food, I recommend the double fried beef in plum sauce, the staff is so friendly and helpful, and the decor is really cool, I'll definitely be going back.
Went there for lunch and were told have to sit and wait for a table. It was spur of the moment to have chinese for lunch. The guy in the front desk was not very friendly and was on the rude side. I was taking a friend to lunch for her birthday and we left. Pays to always book a table at this place. Don't think I would go back there.
The food here is amazing, I've eaten in many Chinese restaurants around the world and I love this place and every time I come to Toowoomba I make sure I eat here at least once. Highly recommended.
Always a great meal that the whole family enjoys. Freshly cooked, great selection and great service. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
