I’ve ordered from CB about 3 times and tonight’s food, jerk pork with white rice and a side of cabbage was not that great. The rice and cabbage was fresh no salt/seasoning and the rice was mushy. The pork was decent. Tonight must of been a bad night.

DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED  Charged me £50 for plantain and mac and cheese and took over 1hr to get my money back after pleading with staff.  Customer service is so bad. The woman is so rude. She apparently couldn’t give me back the money because she needed the manager’s permission.  Never going here again

Caribbean Bites is definitely of our few favourite takeaway choices. So much so that we asked them to cater for a landmark birthday party for around fifty people. The price was very reasonable, it was delivered on time and the food was absolutely superb. Pretty much everyone commented on how amazing it was. The only downside was that I was hoping there would be some leftovers when the party was done so that I could enjoy some the following day as well, but nope. All gone...! Caribbean Bites... five stars and highly recommended.

I normally always enjoy the food. Today I've order some pea soup after a terrible flu I had. I was expecting a proper jamaican style soup with beef but unfortunately I was left disappointed. There was chicken in it. I'm used to proper yard food. When I saw chicken in my pea soup I thought: "Blasphemy!". When I called the shop I was told : "That's how we cook it!". I didn't  enjoy it.

Read my other review as I'm an honest reviewer  Worst mac I've tasted where is the cheese and cream. Tried to save money and waisted it on poor portion sized oily food. KMT

Food is always the wrong side of fresh! Ordered here a few times and it just tastes sour like it’s gone off!!!  The Mac and cheese looks good but tastes off! The callaloo is always sour and the fish gave me the runs.  Won’t be going back there anytime soon

I have been ordering from Caribbean Bites for a few years now, however of recent the food quality has not been up to par, I have experienced numerous problems, i.e bland food and watery soup.  Today I ordered a portion of plantain with my meal and it was delivered hard & stale, it was most likely a few days old, there was no way it was cooked today  I also ordered Curry Chicken and the gravy was more or less water!!.  I called up about my plantain being hard, stale and stiff, the lady over the phone gave me some rubbish excuse that they thought the plantain was ripe so they cooked it but it turns out it wasn’t? I struggle to understand how this could happen, especially being a catering establishment, how can you not know if the plantain is ripe when this is something regularly provided?! I was reluctantly told I can get my money back.  Prior to today’s incident, I made an order for delivery over the phone, I gave my address, contact number AND POSTCODE, over an hour had past and no food had been delivered, I decided to call for an update on my order by this time the shop is closed! But luckily they answered I had given my address to confirm the order, I was told they had tried to contact me & they could not deliver as my address was in Croydon turns out there is a road in Croydon with the same name I assured them I do not live in Croydon, I had given my post code so this error should not have happened regardless, also I left my number and was not contacted, they say they tried I find this hard to believe, the lady over the phone read back my number which was correct, during this call she also had the cheek to say they were going to result to going home and leaving my order?? WHEN NO ONE TRIED TO CONTACT ME FOR SOMETHING THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED AS I WAS CONCISE WITH MY POST CODE! No good will gesture was offered, just a deplorable apology if you’d call it that it was all real pathetic to be honest.  Despite these muck-ups, I continued to give Caribbean Bites the benefit of the doubt and returned, although I won’t be ordering from here again. The business has gone downhill & the staff obviously do not respect the customers to palm them off with the ridiculous excuses given on both occasions.

I will give you people an advice if you like or not, don't start business if you don't know how to treat people properly. Try to be nice, handsome and gentle when you speak on phone with someone that you do not knew.

Lovely food, large potions lovely service but priceyFood: 4/5

I ordered brown stew chicken and the chicken was completely black and rock hard like it has been in the pot for weeks. The rice n peas that it came with was fine. My food was also very dry. I was very disappointed. I would have came back but I have a newborn so couldn’t return it.
