I always enjoy coming here for a coffee and meal. Unless you want to hold up the line with lots of questions about the meals (many of which have dutch names) it's a bit hard to know 100% what you're getting. A separate menu with photos would be awesome. The vibe of the place is great, it's pretty cool to experience a bit of dutch culture right here in NZ!

Very clean and tidy cafe, very friendly staff. Good coffee and food, much Dutch food is similar to what Kiwi's are used to. They use flour ground in Windmill outside. Visit De Molen while here and the nearby museum, a very interesting stop on a trip. All 3 are a great contribution to Foxton by the local Dutch descended community and many others from around the world who supported them

Pretty sure the food was cooked using a dutch oven. hard eggs in the bennies cold under cooked fries with the hot dog. 5 meals came out at 3 different times. People finished meals before the next came out. Nice sitting in the sun though.

Sat outside in the sunshine and had a great quality brunch. Coffee was good too. Nice view of the nearby windmill and a patch of grass for the kids to run about on. An unexpected pleasure.

Great little authentic Dutch café with free wifi. Stop by for the windmill, too.
