We booked at this place because a friend said the peking duck was the best in chch. The duck was very good. The other dishes were good. The service was not friendly "You sit there" in a loud abrupt voice is not very welcoming.
Table services is provided upon calling / placing order due to insufficient manpower , roasted ducks and sliced duck are major menu . Not so crowded at dinner / night time .Food: 2/5
incredibly terrible. Terrible food and very terrible service. Ordered eggplant and it was not cooked, wanted to leave but forced us to pay for it. Got really aggravated towards us then threatened to call the police. do not recommend.
Delicious peking duck! Such amazing food and lovely couple working there. We will definitely be returning here!

Amazing food, best peaking duck in chch
Great food, recommend the duck pancakes Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Been there a number of times with different size groups and always had an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this restaurant, pricing very reasonable. They are licensed with a decent selection but you can also BYO which makes it that much more affordable dining out.
I worked for Cliff 41 years ago.. he is a great chef and makes the best char siu honey bbq pork in town...and sweet & sour pork, Beijing pork is fav..try it out...highly recommend
Best Chinese restaurant in Christchurch, in my opinion. Their roast duck is not to be missed!! Not to mention they are famous for their claypot dishes!
You have to try, I think it's No1 roasted Beijing duck in Christchurch, owners keep the traditional way to make delicious food over 20 years. Most well-known Chinese restaurants does kiwi style faked Chinese meals in chch, so disappoint!
